After a dark and cold Alaskan winter, the Yukon Men emerge to find themselves under siege: a new road threatens to open the town to the outside world, dwindling resources and government bans challenge their hunter-gatherer lifestyle, and a double homicide shakes them to their core.

I love this show!
I love this show... watched it since the beginning. It appealed to my homesteader roots as all my great grandparents rode in the Oklahoma land rush when they opened up the Cherokee strip. I grew up in California but "homesteading" is a mind set as well as a lifestyle. My favorite people here are Stan and Joey. I know they disagree at times, but they demonstrate love and respect for one another which is more than I can say for Charlie toward his son, Bob or James toward his son Frances. It's no wonder those boys don't want to stick around. I'm very interested to see what the future holds for this village.

I have all the seasons and this is the best season yet
I have all the seasons and this is the best season yet. I'm a fan of this show and I hope they come out with another one, because there are questions left in the end about the families that live there.
