Fancy Buying A1406 Laptop Battery for MacBook Air 11'' A1370 (Mid 2011) and A1495 A1465 (Mid 2011 2012 2013 Early 2014 2015 Version) - Not for A1370 (2010)

The battery fit well and worked right out of the box. I underestimated the difficulty in removing the old battery. The double-sided tape holding the original battery was exceptionally strong and did not soften when exposed to isopropyl alcohol. NOT the fault of the replacement battery.

The battery works perfectly! I replaced my 2019 MacBook Pro battery with some help of YouTube tutorials, with no prior experience. All I had was a toolkit and YouTube. If I could do it, you can do it too and save yourself thousand of dollars. For those saying the battery doesn’t hold a charge - don't forget that you need to calibrate it! Your computer needs to 'learn' and sense the new battery.

I have only had the battery about a week and it is used in an old laptop that I rarely used and the original battery swelled and had to be replaced. This battery seems to work well and I have not had any issues with charging or the operation of the laptop. The only issue that I discovered is that during the Apple Hardware Test (AHT), it reports and error code 4. This could be simply that it is not OEM or it could be a more sinister issue that I have just not discovered yet, and may never discover. From a Google search: The Apple Hardware Test (AHT) error code 4xxx/4/40000005 indicates a problem with your Mac's battery, most commonly due to a third-party replacement. Although the exact code is not in Apple's official public documentation, reports from technicians and users on Apple's forums and other repair sites confirm this meaning. Thus the 4 start rating.

Nicely packaged, arrived in a timely manner, fit easily...Added a brief charge to full, and the battery works well. Had a minor question for tech support regarding when to use the laptop's charger; they answered promptly...A very good value!

Installation was fine, but after less than 2 months and only 65 cycles battery is already under 70% health. The quality just isn't there. I had high hopes with how well the install went but was quickly let down.

Worked perfectly after following some youtube video for Apple Macbook Pro 13 Model A 2289. Replacement is not easy and requires about 2 hours of dedicated and focused time but its worth it as it restored my laptop to 100% battery life else I had to spend on a new laptop. Some things to be careful is not to loose track of the screws, where each one goes. Be careful when removing the old battery as it is very solidly glued to the macbook chassis and same goes when removing the trackpad, which I think I could have avoided. Also be very very careful about the very very tiny cables and hinges as you will break them if you are not careful. In the end its worth it.

La batería tiene el tamaño perfecto , bien empaquetada y llegó en el plazo estimado. La he instalado en mi MacBook A1465 y ha dado una nueva vida al portátil. En resumen cumple con su propósito.
