Not as strong as some disposable gloves, but way more expensive
These were good for working in the winter but that was last year. They didn't make it through. The gloves still look new on the top side, cause I didn't wear them that much. But on the palm side, you can see the material is just eaten away. It's so soft there are holes frayed right thru the material into the thin interior shell. So the gloves lasted me 1 1/2 winters and I did not use them much.

Awesome gloves
These gloves are waterproof. They are thick and well made. Excellent sticker protection. Great for cold weather gardening. I Think I bought mine a little big. They still work well. Yesterday I used them to dig up a dead rose bush and plant coneflowers.

Mixed feelings, but would not purchase again
I am updating this review 12//29/12. Though I have now had the gloves for awhile, I don't wear them all that often - only when I work at a farm when it's cold enough, which doesn't happen all that much where I live. I'd say I have worn them no more than maybe 40 times. The material on the index fingers on both hands is tearing open. I like they are made from recycled materials and they are pretty warm for how light they are. But evidently the fabric is not very durable. Also, the wrist band is narrow, so my wrists are exposed when I reach and I have gotten icy water down the glove. And the fingers are a little long for my average hands, so dexterity is difficult and I find myself having to take them off to do small things.

Great for damp cold climates
These gloves might be too warm for hot, humid areas of the country, but here in the foggy climate of San Francisco, they are wonderful. They are water resistant and warm enough that I can garden for a couple of hours without getting cold hands. They are also padded so that they can deal with heavier garden work. I got a pair for my mother, too, since she kept borrowing my original pair which went missing recently. I highly recommend them.

MADE IN THE USA
THE GLOVES WERE NOT MADE AS WELL AS ONE PURCHASED BEFORE. I DONT KNOW WHY THEY CANT BE MADE IN THE USA. IT ISNT THAT THEY ARE CHEAP.

These are the most wonderful gloves for spring and fall
These are the most wonderful gloves for spring and fall, and any time soil is damp. Hands stay clean, warm and dry, yet these are not too bulky to do relatively delicate garden work.

Great for wheelchair users
These are gardening gloves that are great winter, wheelchair gloves too! They are waterproof - really - and keep your hands dry and warm. When they get salt covered you can throw them in the washer and dryer and your good to go again. Highly recommended!
