The waist is very high and rolls down. It has firm stomach control but becomes very uncomfortable and digs into belly when it starts to roll. The legs ride up and roll causing them to bunch up and become uncomfortable. I wouldn’t buy these again.

I recommend the body shaper panty instead! These roll down at the waist band & ride up in the thighs. You can pull the top all the way up, but it doesn't create a smoothing effect. I really wanted to love these, but they're uncomfortable when this happens. I will order more of the high waist panty though, because they do what they're supposed to do. (shape, stay put & smooth).

The silicone grip band is a nice plus. They are not overly tight so I didn’t notice much of a girdle effect. Use as under shorts since they stay and are comfortable.
