Excellent in every way. Magnet works well, the tamper can be used while the funnel is on, and the finish is good. I am using a NEQUZA 51mm bottomless portafilter, and a Vicloon 51mm coffee tamper - it works well with them. Didn’t find it too heavy as others have said. It feels like the weight actually helps keep it still.

This little device fits on top of the portafilter and the flange makes it easy to fill it without making a mess. The ring is slightly magnetic and combined with its weight it sits securely on top. Also, it's wide enough to perfectly match the opening of the portafilter therefore the coffee gets distributed evenly.

The funnel is very heavy and well-constructed. No complaints there. I really like the fact that it will fit into my coffee grinder carriage without having to remove the funnel. Two thumbs up! Another good feature is that it does not protrude into the portafilter basket, which allows you to use a properly adjusted coffee distributor and/or "standard tamper" without having to remove the funnel, you got to like that!The magnets hold the funnel pretty darn good as long as the funnel is right side up. The only con I see is the magnets are a bit weak for the weight of the funnel, so if you turn it upside down and barely bump it the funnel will fall off. So I took one star for that.Overall it's a great product, well built and the fact that you can grind, distribute and tamp without removing the funnel makes it well worth the money.

I didn’t think the magnet was going to stick that good but I was wrong. It stuck really well and didn’t fall off.

Was looking for a dosing ring for my Breville. This one fit the bill from a value, price and functionality perspective.The more expensive rings are of nicer quality and finish. That said, functionality wise they are pretty much the same outside of lip height and dimension.Make sure to check dimensions to ensure it works for your grinder and distribution/tamper purpose.
