A must own if you like making your own pizza
This is the best pizza stone I've ever bought,I've bought a couple over the years,its 2yrs now since I got it,never had any issue with it,I made sure my pizza stone is always 500ยฐ before I put the dough on it,but before I put my dough on, I sprinkle just a little bit of cornmeal to prevent the dough from sticking, ived used plenty of pizza stone and never came across one that the dough doesn't stick. My pizza comes out perfect every time,this pizza stone never failed me before,the stone does not stay pearly white and clean as the manufacturer's says, everything scrapes off easily when cleaning,I scrape mines when it's still warm ,but never had a problem scraping it even when it totally cooled down, I dont wash it or put oil on it, like I said earlier I make sure my stone is 500ยฐ before I put my dough on,for 2 main reason, to kill any bacteria and perfect crust, I just bought another one.got tierd of waiting for one pizza to be done to do another,wings and pizza night got a whole lot easier. I had the pizza stone in temperature above 800ยฐ and the thought never crossed my mind it might cracked, its very thick and high quality stone.i would strongly recommend it, little pricey but the results are priceless

A BBQ Must Have!
We used this pizza stone for the first time over the weekend and had fantastic results. We made a few different kinds of pizza, they all had a nice crispy crust and were delicious! Since we had never used a pizza stone on our Komodo grill before, we give all the credit to this pizza stone for our amazing results. We used Bobbly Flay's Basic Pizza Dough recipe that makes two 14 inch pizzas, it uses instant yeast so it only needs to rise for an hour and ten minutes total, so fresh homemade pizza is ready in no time! The pizza stone was very well packaged for shipping. We did have to contact customer service for a very minor issue, as we did not receive the scraper, I was really surprised that I received a reply in only a few hours, especially since I sent an email to them late on a Saturday afternoon, great customer service! Great for summer BBQs where everyone can make their own pizzas, as pizzas only take minutes to cook. We've only used it once so far, but look forward to experimenting with it and using it for years to come! This is a quality product for a fantastic price with great customer service and is made in the USA, what more can you ask for??!!

A great pizza stone; not sure what troubles others are having
Used to have a Pampered Chef off of Craigslist; it worked well, but did not tolerate 500 F very well, and cracked after a few months. Got this one. Seasoned according to instructions: and away we went. Noticed with first pizza that the stone holds heat far better than the PC one. Following that, the time to bake the pizza dropped at least two minutes for a thin crust. Ended up with a very crispy crust, boarding on burnt. Next one, dropped the time another minute: perfect crispness across entire pie. Also, I'm using the Frederica Trading Bamboo Pizza Peel: that is a great peel! So far so good. Let me add: not sure how some people can have some really unusual problems, but here's a guess: they omitted seasoning the stone. Follow the instructions, and you're good to go. Similarly, you will accumulate burn marks over time from the stone. The people who whine about black marks on the stone don't understand what you do: those marks are completely typical, and unable to hurt you from repeat baking. No smells. No stickiness. PREHEAT THE STONE . But, you do need to use a little corn meal on your before you slide the pie onto the stone. Besides ensuring that you won't accidentally have the pizza stick to the stone, it makes removing the pie with a peel very easy.

Works decently.
The first couple of times I used this pizza stone in my pizza oven it wasn't so great. I was worried it was a bad product. as it wasn't getting as hot or cooking the pizzas as well as my older stone I replaced. After a few times, the stone started working much better. No complaints. You may get some food on it or it may stain. Wouldnt worry about it too much. From my usage and findings, it's just the way the stones are. Good product. No funny taste or smell.

A High Quality Pizza Stone
This is by far the best pizza stone I've ever used. I hadn't heard of Cast Elegance before, but the company's answers on the above Q&A section as well as the other positive Amazon reviews convinced me to give it a try. You can tell it is a quality product as soon as you open the Amazon box. The shipping and packaging is top quality and the quality of the stone is just top notch. It's noticeably thicker than most pizza stones. I use it in a conventional oven set to its highest temperature and let the stone heat up to about 500 degrees. It takes a little while to get the stone good and hot so don't put your pizza in as soon as your oven beeps when it hits baking temperature. I use a little infrared thermometer to check the temperature of the stone itself. Getting the stone up to temperature gives a nice even bake with crisp crusts. I've never had pizza turn out this good.
