I had reached the stage where my cycling was limited by how long I could endure sitting on the saddle. Stamina for me had a different meaning. So after trying various normal saddles without much success, I bought the ISM. At first it was painful - a different sort of pain in different areas, but uncomfortable nevertheless. I did all the fiddly set up work, which helped a bit, but not much. After the first week, the only reason I persevered was the feeling that at least this new pain was probably less damaging than the old pain. I thought stoical, British thoughts about treating those two imposters just the same.Then a few more weeks went by. One morning, riding to work, realisation dawned - I was much more comfortable. By about a month in, the miracle of comfortable riding had occurred.I would recommend this saddle without hesitation, whilst echoing the proviso seen in many reviews that you have to give it time. You absolutely must not bolt it on and go on a cycle tour. The first rides are just about getting the seat adjusted properly. Then it’s a matter of getting used to it. And then it’s a matter of enjoying cycling.

The saddle has transformed my rides. I was suffering from the usual numb bum as I'm sure most cyclist people are familiar with, I was at a point of giving it all in. I thought about a Brooks saddle for my touring Galaxy but so glad I went for the ISM unisex touring saddle, Initially its a strange sensation and the position seems less secure than the conventional saddle I was used to. BUT, I fitted it after watching the video, the first ride about 5 miles I got home with no numb bum and no standing on the pedals to relieve the pressure. I'm still in the tweeking phase, the saddle for me is now horizontal to the ground and I moved it 5mm forward did a hilly 8 mile circuit and forgot the saddle.Its quite expensive but not as expensive as the Brookes would have been. All in all very please with the saddle I did like the registration process the hologram revealing the serial no I s a good way of checking its a genuine ISM saddle.

I won a bike four years ago and it used to stand brand new in the attic. This year I thought, it's time to take advantage of it. But the saddle was the thing making me say "no!". I was about to sell it or even give it to someone for free when I read about ISM saddles. Wasn't sure, if it's a good decision to buy it. I took a risk and don't regret. However: I've just gone for a ride and it was a pretty weird one, as at the beginning I had difficulties to balance. After approx. 5 minutes it was alright. So... if you are looking for something that is going to change the way how you ride a bike, try the ISM's.

Thought I was going to have to give up cycling due to health issues.The saddle is not only extremely comfortable but has allowed me to cycle again.Need to do quite a few adjustments to get it right and get used to not having the front of the seat for stability. After a couple of rides you will get used to it.100% recommend

At first I had it too high, took a lot of adjustment to get right, but worth perseverance. It does not provide the same lateral support of a standard saddle, which is unsettling at first. Now I've had it several months I will never go back, it is so comfortable.
