These are GREAT! The connection to LED light strip is very easy - just cut on the cut marks and clamp it on, no problems. Now the other end was a bit trickier - when connecting to the wires it was hit and miss. I found the best way to make a secure connection was to strip the wire back prior to closing the clamp. My project required connecting four segments of lights together so I used 7 of these connectors per piece and I had 5 pieces to assemble. I could not imagine having to solder the LED light strip connections so it is worth the effort! I used a multi-meter with an audible continuity tester which made it a whole lot easier to know when you have a good/bad connection. It would have been a nightmare doing it otherwise.

After you put the clip on the wire I suggest not moving the clip around. It doesn't make a good connection with my led strip and would cut off if I wiggled the wire. Maybe a bit of glue would help but I mounted it and all has been well so far.

I made it work, but i found that the connections were touchy and the bulky plastic is hard to un-snap and adjust
