Spend money on this, It's worth it
Actually useful if you have trouble racking or tactically need it or even if you're disabled. Looks nice on the 43 (not too big) and install is a breeze. Oddly enough this made it easier for me to find the sights when shooting, nice little fringe benefit.

Good racking improvement for most hands
I got a different brand set for the Glock 42 and liked it a lot for my damaged hands. Armorer liked it too, says will buy one. But it was not clear if it would also fit the Glock 43. Found this one on Amazon, decided to try it. Easy install for the Armorer. Works well. Only less-than-positive is that the bar is narrower relative to the other brand, which was tall enough for easier grip, much like my H&K VP9's "ears". I admit I prefer the other brand's taller ears, though this one still works well. After 3 or 4 mags, the thinner bar can make the thumb/finger or side of thumb/finger grip a little sore (not bad, just noticeable). But as for basic function, no complaints. Even on the slightly larger 43 slide, it does help rack it reliably. Did not poke me in the side in either a nylon (iwb or owb) holster, or my favorite Serpa CQC holster. No sharp edges. After 300 rds (I have the two-round mag extension from Taran for the Glock 43 mags, total 8 rds/mag), no other issues.

Favorite backplate
The media could not be loaded. I believe this is the most simple method of improving slide racking. This handy thing lets you rack you slide more easily with wet hands, gloved hands, or even off a pocket for one hand racking. I put this on all of my side arms if it’s available

Really helps rack a slide with gloves or sweaty hands.
The Glock slides have a pretty smooth finish on the Gen 5 and my fingertips are pretty smooth so I was finding my hand sliding off the Glock I got these and that problem solved also I guess they help with one handed charging and definitely with wet hands and gloves

I bought this so my wife could more easily rack the slide on her Glock 43. Works great! Just to be safe, I had it installed by my gunsmith. She and I like this modification.
