Best combi cooker!
I love this machine. It takes up some room to store because of the two lids, but that’s fine when the results are so good. I’ve probably saved so much money on gas due to this, and the roast chicken comes out perfectly. Highly recommended.

Absolutely one of my best buys ever ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I honestly don’t know how I managed without the Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer 11-in-1 Multicooker. I use it every single day, and it has completely changed the way I cook. The biggest win is the Duo Crisp lid – pressure cook and air fry in one pot. I can make stews, soups, rice, beans, yoghurt, and then switch lids and get food perfectly crispy without extra oil. Chips, chicken, roasted veg, even reheating leftovers – everything comes out fast and delicious. It saves so much time and space. Instead of multiple appliances, this one does it all: pressure cooker, air fryer, slow cooker, steamer, sauté pan, rice cooker, oven alternative… the list goes on. The results are consistently good, and the food tastes fresh, not dried out like with some air fryers. I also love how easy it is to use and clean. The controls are clear, the inner pot is sturdy, and cleanup is quick. For busy days, it’s a lifesaver – healthy meals with minimal effort. If you cook regularly and want something reliable, versatile, and genuinely worth the money, this is it. Practical, powerful, and used daily – I couldn’t recommend it more. Below my Keto bread proofed and baked in the pot!

Instant Pot Duo
The Instant Pot Duo Crisp + Air Fryer is a kitchen powerhouse! With its 11-in-1 functionality, it handles everything from pressure cooking and air frying to slow cooking, steaming, sous vide, dehydrating, and more. The 5.7L capacity is perfect for family meals, batch cooking, or even experimenting with new recipes. Switching between the pressure cooker lid and the air fryer lid is seamless, and the results are impressive—crispy chips, tender meats, and perfectly baked desserts all from the same device. The controls are intuitive, with clear settings that make it easy to switch between modes. The non-stick surfaces and removable parts make clean-up much quicker than expected for such a versatile appliance. As expected with its size, it does require a good amount of counter or storage space, but the functionality more than makes up for it. It also comes with a mid-length cord, which is practical for most kitchen setups. The air fryer function even prompts you to flip food for even cooking, and the maximum temperature reaches 204°C, allowing for a wide range of cooking techniques. Overall, this multicooker is fantastic value for money, offering incredible versatility and performance. A must-have for anyone looking to simplify their cooking routine or elevate their culinary game!

Instant Pot vs Ninja Foodie
I bought my Ninja Foodie OP300 about a year ago. It sits in my holiday home and is fantastic. Guests love it. So I wanted something similar for the main home. The other name in this market is this Instant Pot. At full price they both come in around £180 but both have highly volatile fluctuations. I watched both and the Instant Pot dropped to £119 so I went for it. By default I use air frying more than anything else so they normally live with that lid attached. Both are bigger and heavier than you imagine. I would say the Ninja is wider and the IP is taller. The Ninja lid pivots left so you need even more counter space. The IP lid lifts off so you need somewhere to put it when hot but where is up to you. The pressure cook lid on the IP is smaller and easier to store than The Ninja one. The basic pots theoretically are the same 5.7 litres. But the Ninja is wider but less deep. That makes it more flexible for accommodating cooking dishes. I can get an 8" cake tin into the IP pot but I can't get it out easily when hot. I burned myself on the pot on its first outing which has never happened with the Ninja. For cooking direct in the pot, e.g a slow cook, there's no difference. For cooking in the inner air frying basket the Ninja is noticeably bigger. Food spreads out more so cooks more evenly. The IP is deeper and has an insert so you can split the food. I suspect you can cook the same amount of food but in a double decker arrangement in the IP. Clean-up. The Ninja had a ceramic non-stick coating on the main pot. Nothing had stuck in a year of use - magic. The IP is stainless steel. Keeping it as shiny and scratch free as new is going to be impossible. When it comes to controls they are both pretty easy to use. The Ninja seems to be slightly better quality. The IP has finer control over temperature and more modes but honestly I'm not going to use much other than fry, bake, slow cook, pressure cook. The instructions are poor for both but there are online videos to help. I do resent paying for a recipe book on top of the amount these devices cost. Overall if space is an issue, if you are keen to use obscure modes, and if price is a key factor, wait and watch until the IP goes sub-£120 and order that one. The Ninja low price is around £150. You need more space on the worktop and for lid storage. But clean up is easier and using other baking containers is simple. I prefer it but whether that preference is worth an extra £30 I don't know. They are both great kitchen gadgets that for some will render a conventional oven superfluous. I wouldn't be without one frankly. Added: I've done a few beef and chicken slow cooks with the IP now. 10 mins pressure cook first then with the same setup up to 12 hours low slow cook. Works really well for great results. I still maintain that cleanup with the Ninja is better and quicker but the food itself was fantastic.

New favourite appliance
I put off buying an instant pot for a while because there are so many models to choose from, but in the end I chose the duo crisp with air fryer because I wanted an air fryer and didn’t want two large appliances in my kitchen. Anyway, although it can seem overwhelming at first with all the safety instructions and various programs, it’s actually really easy to grasp the basics and you’ll soon be enjoying the results. Then, with practice, you’ll start cooking your favourites without consulting the handbook or Google. I haven’t used all the functions yet but as a pressure cooker it’s excellent. I love being able to throw everything in and pretty much forget about it. Everything I’ve tried (meat, poultry, vegetables, rice, pasta, porridge) has been excellent, perfect really. A few people have been unimpressed by the slow cooker function but I found it to be even better than my slow cooker. The air fryer function is average to good as is the roasting program. Im still experimenting but so far it doesn’t beat my conventional oven. I tend to agree with others about the air frying function - it’s a fairly small basket and if you like the idea of air frying or you have a large family, it might be better to buy a separate air fryer. The only other negative for me is that I find the air fryer basket very difficult to get clean. Even if I soak it immediately after use I have to scrub at it. Apart from that I love this appliance and use it daily.

Great Product, Works Brilliantly, Great Range of Cooking Options
The air fryer part is quite compact but it does the job well. Loads of cooking options from the machine and they are all straightforward to use. It might take a few tries to get the timings spot on but it has worked very well straight from the box. Enables meals to be cooked quickly when using the pressure cooker function. Or even go for the slow cooker option - more insulated than traditional slow cookers - better efficiency. It cuts down on electricity bills. We bought a couple of recipe books to help. We’ve also bought another Instant Pot to keep at our old ruin of a caravan!!

Does everything well
Really easy to use. Intuitive buttons. For someone like me who only reads the manual in a crisis, this was brilliant. Use it every day. So versatile. Brilliant for ADHD. No more burning food, pans or bakeware!! Hyperfocus for 4-6 hours no problem!! Warmer means a hot meal whenever you notice you haven't eaten all day!! Cooks everything well. I got those magnetic time things to remind me of times and remind to use less water in rice and stuff. Stuck them up just above the cooker. Also got spare pots and trivets. All goes in the dishwasher so easy peasy clean up too! The silicone lid that means leftovers can just be bunged in the fridge is a bit of a time save too.

Excellent
Bought this to replace Ninja 11 in 1 which only lasted just over two years. This is a quite a bit deeper but not so big in circumference which is the only drawback as now my dishes do not fit. Stainless steel bowl is very easy to clean and in my opinion a better option than the coated Ninja bowl. If you are looking for a multi function air fryer/cooker then I absolutely recommend this one. It is much cheaper than the Ninja and has all the functions. Smaller footprint so if short of space this is the better option. Very happy so far and hopefully it will last longer than the much more expensive Ninja

Imprescindible

Top
