Doctor Who: The Official Cookbook: 40 Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey Recipes

Great not just for Doctor Who fans although all the recipes are Doctor Who inspired. My kids like looking through the book because of the pictures inside. This book is a must for anyone wanting to have a Doctor who party theme. The recipes are easy enough to follow. Overall it is a good hardcover cookbook with lots of pictures. I think the only down side to this is that most recipes serving size if for a medium to large groups and not many for small or individual servings.

Excellent book! The recipes are beautifully pictured throughout the entire book! I'm not sure about every recipes taste, having not made any yet, but the wonderful thing about recipes is that they're easily tweaked to suit your personal tastebuds! My 10 yr old daughter & I will have so much fun making these together & munching on them while we geek out watching the show! I ordered this used from Fort Worth ebooks & the book arrived in good time (for not being a prime item) & had no markings or damage other than normal shelf wear. I would order from this seller again.

For those expecting a repeat of Gary Downie's Doctor Who cookbook, this isn't it. No cast members contributing favorite recipes. The recipes in *this* cookbook are named and themed mainly after the characters in the 2005-present series although there *is* a small homage to older villains and a nice picture of the First Doctor (William Hartnell) towards the front of the book and another of the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker), Leela and K-9 in the "Kookie K-9" recipe. Some of these recipes will be easy to make like the "Sonic Screwdri-Veg," the "Fish Fingers and Custard" and the " A Pizza Cassandra." Others will be more difficult like the "Kookie K-9" and "The TARDIS" recipes. You'll find templates for the more difficult recipes in the back of the book. And YUM! There is even a recipe to make your own Jelly Babies. This is a must have for old and new Whovians alike.

I enjoyed seeing all the different recipes. I would have liked a few more pictures of the finished foods, but maybe in the print book. Reading it as an ebook was interesting, but sometimes a little confusing. I'm going to get the print book from my library and see if it is better. If you can't get the physical book, this one still has great instructions.

If you love to cook and also dream of a TARDIS suddenly showing up in your bedroom one night: this is for you! I'm not sure how well these recipes will turn out as far as taste but that is secondary to being able to make Doctor Who themed food! It's a super cute, thick well made book that is full of monster commentary and imaginative versions of Whovian food related items. I love this cookbook! So fun and it's the only cookbook in my library (I collect cookbooks) that I don't care a bit about how tasty the recipes turn out! Lots of fun for you or foodie Who fans. Definitely recommend it and would buy it again in an instant!

Incredible! This cookbook is more of a coffee table book because of its stunning quality photos! Every recipe is adorable and any Dr. Who fan will recognize all the references! The difficultly of the recipes is a bit much on some of them but I don't even care, the book is just too darn cute for me to give it less than 5 stars.

How could any Doctor Who fan not love a cookbook of Doctor Who themed food? I have the Star Wars one and just wanted to add to my collection of geeky books. Most of the stuff is easy to make, but some are hard to make in the shape of the book photos. But Who cares? See what I did there? Just make them with out the fancy shape. It truly is a great gift for that hard to buy for Who fan.

The illustrations in this cook book are fantastic as well as the recipes. This was a gift to a friend that is a Dr. Who fan, just went crazy over the book. It is well written and much better than expected out of a TV Series type cook book....lots of laughs and imagination went into making this cook book. If you like Dr. Who you will enjoy this cook book.

Got this for my best friend and she has already made 3 of the items in it. Some of the recipes do take a fair amount of prep time and also cooking/baking time, but totally worth it. It's definitely something you can't help but laughing by the end of making it. The goal? Somehow make your item(s) look like the photos from the recipe...yea :P

Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Tochter, ich weiß leider nichts über das Buch da es ein Geschenk zu Weihnachten werden soll aber es ist bestimmt gut 😉
