It works as advertised but beware. Unless you use specialized HUD app the image will be reversed since you're looking at a mirror. HUD apps have a reversing function, google Maps does not.The phone stays firmly in place and the supplied sticky pad works great, securing the display case to your dash.

I am very disappointed in this. The image is reversed and no matter what you do to try to get the image corrected it still stayed reversed as a reflection. It makes it very difficult to navigate within 2 mins of using it I just grabbed my phone and did it the old fashioned way. The screen is not as “reflective as they say” and can be hard to read especially in bright sunlight. Another aspect as well is that down here in south la it gets massively hot and having your phone on this device in the summer time sitting on your dash (even while driving can over heat your phone.

This went straight into the box of "reasons not to buy online". While most of the items I've bought from Amazon are of good quality, this one is junk. Pure and simple. Sticking my phone under the window to reflect off it dd a better job. And then, the mirror silver started peeling off. That was it. Into the junk box, it went. Maybe I will be able to scrap it for a part some day.

THE PRODUCT WORKED AS ADVERTISED BUT THEIR GPS ISNT AS GOOD AS GOOGLE MAPS OR APPLE MAPS. THAT ALONE WAS A DEAL KILLER FOR ME. TOOK A 1700 MILE ROUNDTRIP TO THE MID-WEST AND BECAME SO FRUSTRATED WITH THE APP I STOPPED USING AND TURNED ON MY GOOGLE MAP APP.RESULT ITEM IS USELESS FOR ME AND MONEY SPENT WASTED.

Don't waste your money. The version I received has a mirror instead of clear reflective / transparent lens. Doesn't work as well as the demo and the sticky pad will not stay in place.

This is nothing more than a mirror with a gase to lay your phone on.... The problem is that the apps that can be downloaded to use it with are pretty worthless, and use the battery at an excessive rate.

The biggest draw for me to this product is the fact that it does not need to glue to the dashboard. I lease my car and other auto-dash mount required it to be glued on to the dashboard which would leave a blotted spot on the dashboard when removed. I don't want to pay extra when I returned the car. I also do frequent business travel, so it is easy to grab IP Brother and put it on the rental without worry damage the car.IP Brother Head UP Display uses anti-slip mat to keep it in place. I commuted in the city with the stop-n-go traffic. Nor it or the phone slide across the dashboard.Another win is the service, one of the question asked in the product page is about the HUD apps. I received an email from Peter soon after receiving the product. In it, he mentioned couple HUD apps (DigiHUD and Sygic). While I don't find DigiHUD in the iOS app, I did find Sygic and HUDway which was the reason for me to get this unit. As for showing mpg, travel time, and miles travel, both apps are okay. This thing sticks to the dash well. However, my phone doesn't stick to it. Every time I turn or accelerate my phone flies off. Also, screen cracked when I lifted it the first time. It also looks expensive, so I have to hide it when I park or it may get stolen.
