Q: I would buy it but too bad shipping is forever?

I purchased this helmet on March 12, 2020. Today is June 15, 2020. No helmet, no tracking. DO NOT BUY THIS THING.

Q: Can it be used for skateboarding?

I'm sure it would work for skateboarding. It protects the head well and is suitable for most sports and activities.

Q: Sons head is 18.5 in. Will this still fit or shod I order a different helmet?

Do not purchase from this seller. He is in Asia. He is a terrible communicator and the helmet will never make it to you. I waited for more than 90 days and never received the original order, not the so-called replacement.

Q: Is this helmet supposed to come with 2 separate sets of pads that I see in the listing? We just got ours and it did not have extra pads

No extra pads, it only arrives with the helmet and detachable chin/mouth piece.
