Great Dimmers
Attractive and very easy to install. We have these on most every switch in the house including two three way switches. With a three way, it is best to leave the dimmer on and to turn it off from the opposing connected switch as we did not buy the adapter to operate it in off and off from both locations. Our three way switches are both only a short distance from one another so this does not cause any inconvenience. I love how these operate, so smooth, no flashing or flickering through all the levels of brightness. Very nice dimmers working with all types of light bulbs. Good buy.

Excellent dimmer.
Easy to install, slow turn on, set a specific light level and simply turn off and on thereafter.

Very slim design, works well with dimmable LED fixture
I recently installed a new LED fixture in my bathroom (over the toilet) and it was a bit brighter than I expected - kind of blinding when you go into the bathroom in the middle of the night. Thankfully the LED fixture is dimmable, so I tried hunting down a dimmer. When we repainted the bathroom, we replaced the exhaust fan, all the lights except the one over the toilet, along with all the switches and outlets. I installed brand-new GFCI outlets and Decora-style switches all around. I added a proper timer to the fan and was originally going to install a smart switch for the light over the toilet - to turn the light on and off on a day/night cycle. I quickly discovered that the electrical box for the switch to that light was extremely shallow - about 1-1/2 inches deep. It was a 2 inch box that they had nails driven through it horizontally. As such, a standard light switch fit just fine, but just about any smart device wouldn't have a chance. After looking around at home stores, I discovered that almost every dimmer available was 2 inches deep, at best. I was starting to think I was going to have to rip the box out of the wall, replace it and patch the drywall - more than I wanted to have to deal with for a lousy dimmer. Anyway, I discovered this product on Amazon and it's only 1 inch deep - perfect! Installation was simple, especially using my trusty WAGO Lever Nuts. I had it installed in maybe 10 minutes, including the time to kill the power and remove and reinstall the wall plate. The switch and dimmer work perfectly, although I did notice that at very low light levels, there is a slight flicker introduced when my variable speed furnace blower spins up and down - probably voltage fluctuations on that leg of my power. When the light is set at higher levels, it's not noticeable. The switch has a great look and feels like a quality device, although it doesn't feel quite as heavy-duty as I've generally come to expect from Leviton devices. My guess is that it's a "home-user" product as compared to the "commercial grade" products I'm used to. Still, it feels pretty quality.

Great - buying again
Easy install. Works well. I have three different brands ( a Cree , a TCP , and a G7 ) of dimmable LED in the light fixture and none make noticeable noise. A ceiling fan definitely needs to be wired separate from the lights. If your fan can be switched off using the same wall switch that controls the light, you'll probably have to pull a new wire for the fan. UPDATE: the factory default minimum brightness is maybe 30% of maximum, but it's easy to adjust to make the minimum much more dim. See below. I now have mine so it goes to about 10% of max brightness, which is as low as I can go and still have all three of these non-matched bulbs (with different responses at the low end) light up. Could go even lower using matching (or more similar) LED bulbs. The Cree bulb seems to work the best, no delay when turning on even at minimum brightness. None of the bulbs ever flicker. This dimmer works great. I'm about to buy another. The only thing I don't like is that the rocker-style on/off switch isn't quite as easy to find or use (e.g. with your hands full or when feeling around in the dark) as a traditional toggle switch. From Leviton's instruction sheet: Setting Minimum Light Level (Programming mode) 1. Ensure the dimmer is set to the OFF position. 2. Set the bulb selector switch to the LED/Incandescent position. 3. Push rocker switch to ON position. 4. Set the bulb selector switch to the CFL position. 5. Raise or lower the slide control level to achieve the desired minimum light level. 6. Set the bulb selector switch back to LED/Incandescent position. 7. A momentary flash of the bulb will occur confirming the new setting. 8. Push rocker switch to the OFF position. 9. For dimmable CFL lamps you must return the bulb selector to the CFL position.

Purchased & installed in 2024, it's 2026
Purchased and installed in 2024, I'm finally here to make a fair review. This dimmer switch was easy to install, it's used on the constant and we have had zero issues with it. Great quality.

Perfect
I upgraded my dining room light to a dimmable option which also required a new switch and plate cover. I chose this particular switch because I trust the brand but I chose this mod because itโs the exact same as the one in my entryway way only a few feet away. Which probably wouldnโt mattered to most but for me it really did and since it wasnโt in stock at my local hardware store, I went straight to the Amazon site and of course they had exactly what I needed/wanted and the price was even a little bit better. I love this switch, if one can love a switch. The design is simple, but elegant. It has a very modern look. Smooth operation, no fuss, and easy to maneuver in the dark. Itโs perfect.

Not as good as it's slightly cheaper brother
I ordered this switch and the slightly cheaper Leviton R12-06633-PLW ( Leviton R12-06633-PLW Decora 3Way Slide Dimmer with Preset, Lighted Pad Option, White )at the same time. The cheaper switch is actually much better for LED's. I tested both switches with a series of three 75 watt equivalent Par40 LED's in the soft white spectrum. I find that this switch is not very precise, meaning that at any given position on the slider, the lights may dim to a variable level. For instance, at a given position, the lights may dim to 60%, but when you move the slider and put it back in the same place, it is 52%. Also, the dimmer functions with a sort of "soft" or automated looking action. When you move the slider, the dimming action is not immediate, and the dimming sort of chases the position on the slider. Some may find this to be a nice effect, but I don't like how it makes me feel like I'm not getting the right level of dimming I'm after. One other thing that should be noted: with this switch, my LED's do not come on at the same time. With the other switch, the lights all illuminate at the exact same time, every time. I was happy to find that I notice no *flicker* with either switch. I appreciate that this switch will function on a two switch set up, but people should note that any two switch set-up with a dimmer can only have one switch as a dimmer (the other switch can be only on/off). It's also nice that the switch included the necessary wire nuts. Finally, one should note that there is a tiny little switch above the slider (which gets covered by the faceplate) which allows this dimmer to be used with either CFL or LED/Incandescent. I still need one more switch for a third bank of LED's, so I will definitely be ordering the Leviton R12-06633-PLW ( Leviton R12-06633-PLW Decora 3Way Slide Dimmer with Preset, Lighted Pad Option, White ), NOT this switch.

Did the trick
Good switch. The wires were a different colour than the ones on the old switch and the ones in the wall but it was easy to install with a non-contact voltage pen and a quick YouTube search. Instructions weren't great as the diagram didn't even match the actual switch. Works well as a 3-way switch. Option for CFL or LED as to eliminate flickering when using the dimmer.

Dimmer works great
An electrician friend kept getting annoyed at my lights flickering in the basement. Told me to change the dimmer and recommended this one. Good value for the price and has worked really well. Had it installed for about two months now. Good product!
