TLDR: Feels incredible, Delivered dry
This is a great key fob cover. The key fob was delivered pretty dry. I feel like it’s an oversight on the seller, so maybe half a star off (but that’s not an option). I gave it 2 coats of Vaseline and now the material is looking vibrant, moist, shiny, and voluptuous. I did scratch the cover while it was dry (testing whether it fit a particular place in my car… answer: kind of). After some rubbing and moisturizing with vaseline, it’s hardly noticeable. I’m sure if i rub more, it’ll completely come out. Photos are the end result of everything I did to it, scratching and all (sorry, no before photos).The lanyards pretty nice. The clasp seems pretty thin and leightweight, but the spring and attachment feel firm. Don’t see it failing anytime soon, but definitely not testing its strength.TLDR:1. Moisturize2. Has held up to daily use!
I am tough on my items and constantly snag my lanyard on stuff. This has held up to frequent daily use so it’s a win for me. It feels nice, the buttons line up on my 2020 Toyota fob, and it has its own separate metal ring to clip things on. I was so worried about the loop for the ring ripping or giving out but it’s not even close after months of use! Happy with my purchase!
