Easy installation, good quality
This was by far one of the easiest diy reinstallation done. Instructions came in with are clear and match all the accessories provided to follow perfectly. If you follow all instructions (do not skip, no shortcuts), you would see a pro like installed mesh screen. I will come back and reduce the stars if the quality starts to fall down very soon and write the issue but as of now, material is good, feels strong enough, matches almost like my old screen mesh (it was new door installation). There is enough rubber grip to run around the door frame, flexible enough to match the application and holds the mesh stable. I was bit skepticle when I saw it came in a flat thin pizza box-like package. But the fold creases started disappearing right during installation. Looks good filters bright light and still a piece left that can be used for a small window.

Easy for DIY application, all tools included, Rescue cat tested & 4 🐾 🐾 paws up
Rescue cats + screen doors = hanging on to see birds n squirrels. Thats ok as this DIY kit is exceptional, with all tools and takes maybe 15 minutes and done. And yes cats appreciate it too. Haha. Its just apart of being a cat Rescue parent and wanting the furrbabies to still have entertainment and keep them occupied. This product actually performs better than original screen door equipment.

Excellent screen replacement kit has everything needed to save you $$$!
Heard a guy go into the local glass shop to ask how much it would cost to replace a screen on his sliding door - think they quoted him about $100! So, this kit and about 20-30 min of your time will save you some real cash. The kit comes with all the tools needed for installation and the instructions are quite clear: 1) Use the included hook to pull the old spline and remove the old screen. 2) Cut the new screen with about 2" excess border all the way around (the kit even comes with a small plastic tape measure). 3) Use the CONVEX side of the roller to push the spline in halfway (I had to go back and redo the first side to tighten it up a bit); start and end at the same corner; you can use your finger to carefully push all the corners in; be careful not to contact the screen with the roller or you may cut it. 4) Use the CONCAVE side of the roller to push the spline in the rest of the way; angling toward the outside away from the tight part of the screen; use the curved (non-pointy) side of the hook (or a standard screwdriver) to push the corners in, being careful not to damage the screen. 5) Use the enclosed razor blade to cut off the excess all the way around (this was maybe the trickiest part, and I left a few jagged edges behind, not wanting to cut too close to the spline). Easy peasy, looks great, nice and tight. Very pleased.

Perfect kit, has it all
This saved my situation. My old door had the screen ripped and I first tried to get a new door before I learned about this kind of products. I have a new screen installed and it is just perfect. The kit holds everything you will need to replace the screen in an existing door frame. I forgot the with of the track where the rubber spline goes in my door but this is properly the single most important measurement to take before deciding on a kit. Do not buy if you have not verified the door frame track has a width that will work with the rubber spline in the product you order. A couple of observations: 1. Do be careful not to make the net too tight, don’t stretch it too hard. I did not stretch too much and it ended up in high tension. Like a drum skin. I believe it is fine but would imagine that if you get it too much into tension, that the net will pull out the rubber spline. 2. There are two different tools each with wheels to drive the rubber spline into the door frame track. They seem to be for different track sizes. I used the plastic one. There are two ends on the tool. One is to gently press the rubber spline into the track. The other is to drive the spline into final deep position. I simply didn’t dare to use this tool to get the runner spline into final position. So I used the curved end of the tool meant to pull out the old spline with. It worked perfectly. I pressed the curved end on top of the spline until it got into final position. I did this the whole way around by moving the tool slightly along the track for the to press the spline. If you just pull it you will stretch the rubber spline and it will be likely be stretched thin reducing the force the spline put onto the net in the track. Good luck. Buy with confidence (check track width first!)

Good Kit, But Material Quality Could Be Better
The kit includes everything needed for a basic screen repair, and the size of the mesh is generous. However, the material feels thinner than expected, and it doesn’t seem as durable as higher‑quality fiberglass mesh. The tools work, but the overall build quality could be improved. It’s usable for light repairs, but not the strongest option for long‑term durability.
