Rescue cats + screen doors = hanging on to see birds n squirrels. Thats ok as this DIY kit is exceptional, with all tools and takes maybe 15 minutes and done. And yes cats appreciate it too. Haha. Its just apart of being a cat Rescue parent and wanting the furrbabies to still have entertainment and keep them occupied. This product actually performs better than original screen door equipment.

Heard a guy go into the local glass shop to ask how much it would cost to replace a screen on his sliding door - think they quoted him about $100! So, this kit and about 20-30 min of your time will save you some real cash. The kit comes with all the tools needed for installation and the instructions are quite clear: 1) Use the included hook to pull the old spline and remove the old screen. 2) Cut the new screen with about 2" excess border all the way around (the kit even comes with a small plastic tape measure). 3) Use the CONVEX side of the roller to push the spline in halfway (I had to go back and redo the first side to tighten it up a bit); start and end at the same corner; you can use your finger to carefully push all the corners in; be careful not to contact the screen with the roller or you may cut it. 4) Use the CONCAVE side of the roller to push the spline in the rest of the way; angling toward the outside away from the tight part of the screen; use the curved (non-pointy) side of the hook (or a standard screwdriver) to push the corners in, being careful not to damage the screen. 5) Use the enclosed razor blade to cut off the excess all the way around (this was maybe the trickiest part, and I left a few jagged edges behind, not wanting to cut too close to the spline). Easy peasy, looks great, nice and tight. Very pleased.

Absolutely great directions. For a first timer this was an incredibly easy job. I even bought a second kit in case I ruined the first. It was not needed. All the tools needed for removing the existing screen and installation were included. Much cheaper and easier than taking the screen door to the hardware store.

Doesn’t come in a roll as pictured which made it more difficult to unfold and cut but, it does work when you need a new screen. Easy to install. Seems thick and sturdy. Quality is A+ Comes with all accessories needed to put a new screen on.

The screen kit worked for me. Easy to replace old screen. The new screen was good quality and looks nice.

This kit has everything needed for repair. I used it to replace a ripped screen on an RV screen door. Very easy and looks great.

very nice Kit, everything‘s there that you need to do a few screens depend on the size. The material itself feels pretty good. They do a pretty good job of trying to explain to you how to put the material in if you’ve never done it before. It’s a little wonky on the explanation, but seemed to me if someone was approaching this never having tried it before they would be guided well enough. I’ve got two screens done and will follow up in a few months after they’ve weathered in the hawaiian sun. But so far so good.

I am the least handy person on the face of the earth. When I heard it’d cost $75 a screen to fix my screens, I figured this was worth a shot. It was very easy! The first screen I had a little 2” long mistake right on the frame…nothing a little screen tape couldn’t fix! The second one went MUCH better. They aren’t super tight, but I’m confident that’s a me issue. I have 3 more to do and expect I’ll be able to get them tighter this time.

Item came without only 2 of the 6 accessories, was pretty useless without tools , I had to go source tools to get the job done . Material is not bad soft and can bee good. Lake of accessories was a downfall
