Waste of Money - I should have believed the 38% of negative reviews - AND SO SHOULD YOU
As Donna Bellavia's review states, "the styrofoam float on this one is much smaller than the original Crane flapper, so it does not stay up long enough to let a proper amount of water pass." In fact, the flapper closes instantly upon release of the flush handle due to insufficient bouyancy of the float, thereby allowing practically NO water to pass. How this is compatible with a Crane toilet (or any other toilet, for that matter) is beyond me, other than for the presence of the slotted receptacle which allows it to be attached to the bottom of the speedway. I bought this to repair the toilet of a relative who lives 1/2 hour away, so I wasted not only my money, but a fair amount of time as well. Not worth the effort to return it, and it takes a lot to get me to write a negative review. I'd leave zero stars if I could. Don't waste your money on this junk.

Finally!
So excited to find the flapper for my Crane oiler since no hardware store or plumbing supply house in OKC had one in stock. Perfect fit!

Doesn’t fit 1961 Crane Drexel toilet
I purchased this flapper a couple months ago for my Crane Drexel toilet installed when the house was built in 1961. I have tried everything I can to get it to close properly, but it leaks. It’s in a bathroom that is rarely used (maybe once a month), but I’d hear it running every so often in the first month. Even after I manually placed it evenly over the hole and it wasn’t flushed, it would still start running.I finally timed it. The tank is refilling for about 15-20 seconds every 23 minutes!!!I’ve lived here 13 years and have replaced this flapper many times usually with ones from HD or another well known brand from Amazon.I picked this brand last time because it delivered a day or so sooner and was a little cheaper than the other brand. Completely not worth it.I will be ordering the other brand today. I’m sure I’ve spent way more than the $2-3 saved on wasted water. I do not recommend this flapper for old Crane toilets.

It fell apart! ZERO stars
This was the only one I could find of this style. It's not rocket science, it's easy to install. BUT THE STYROFOAM IS NOT SUPPOSED TO COME OFF! We put it in, immediately the tank is still draining, so we lifted it up, and the ball had fallen right off and down into the pipe, GONE. WE HAD TO BUY A NEW TOILET!! That's $200 we shouldn't have had to spend.

Did Not Fit Crane Oxford
Can't really find the right replacement, but this was definitely the wrong choice in my case. It ended up being too short as is the case with others. Big disappointment.
