I want to preface this by asking you to ignore the background music in the video… my one-year-old didn’t get his music taste from me 😅Our house was built in 1906 so our wood burning stove is a key part of keeping our living room warm in the winters. Once our little one became mobile, we needed something that was sturdy enough to keep him out while also being aesthetically appealing.When this gate arrived, we realized that we misjudged how low our window was, which meant we could only mount one side. Even then, it’s still extremely sturdy against him pushing and pulling on it. I gave it a little shake in the video to show just how stable it is, even with only one side mounted.After reading previous reviews, I was a little nervous about how well the gate would operate. So far, I haven’t had a single issue on the latches not lining up. It’s really user-friendly.I also appreciate the fact that while it is super user-friendly, the gate isn’t easily opened unless you’re intentional about it. I have no worries about my son being able to push it open on his own at all. The mechanism is really well made.I would absolutely recommend this gate. It serves its purpose perfectly and i anticipate that we’ll be using it for years to come!!

I’m needed a long gate for a 8 ft opening. Very flimsy and hard to open. Works for the purpose I purchased it for. Wouldn’t buy again though.

Supper large, heavy duty, very sturdy, very nice looking, it has a nice gate to pass through. This barrier has five sections that bend to fit any location.

This "baby gate" (which I use for my puppy) is easy to set up and strong. You can shorten it or make it longer by the way you bend or unbend at the hinges. I do not use the wall mounts.

I have a large entry between my dining room and living room that I needed to separate due do the children and it was a prefect fit.

The media could not be loaded. I did receive a full refund from seller after I wrote the below review and contacted them.The door on this gate is useless. It isn’t a simple close and lock, even if your goal is to just lock the top OR the bottom (pretty sure both are supposed to lock either way). You have to squeeze the handle to get the top to click back into place and you must line up the other rungs just right with your other hand. When the top is locked, the bottom is misaligned and not secure. If you instead focus on the bottom locking, the top is misaligned. There is no way to secure this door. It is also difficult if not impossible to move the joints around on each panel. Poor construction and a complete waste of money.

The mounts are super cheap plastic , as should be expected for a product made in China. Thankfully this is not for children but I would not trust the mounts, when you can over drill completely through the plastic mount …. Then you know that plastic is going to wear out and break very soon.
