I purchased the Pixpri Pruning Shears because I couldn't find my other shears. I have purchased other bypass shears in the past that were of inferior quality and the cutting surface would strike the anvil side of the shear or the shears were so loose that they would not cut smaller limbs. These shears are fantastic. These shears are quality. the replaceable cutting surfaces are of such quality that as a homeowner I will probably never need to replace them, the rest of the shears seem to be made of solid cast aluminum and are equally great quality. I would recommend them to anyone from the home gardener to the commercial grower.

I purchased these pruning shears as a gift for a gardener friend for Christmas. I was quite delighted with the quality and presentation in the little velveteen drawstring bag. They appear to be very strong, with well cushioned removable grips on the handles. I expect to be ordering another pair for my own use.

I may be over estimating usage but they won't cut main rose shoots. Ok on small stuff but not sharp enough for my main reason for purchase .

Enough said.

Look good , however you can only use on small branches.

I mean, what can you say... they work... they cut.... I would recommend.

Believe it or not, these shears actually BROKE the very first time I used them….the METAL was so weak that it broke straight in half, and the spring guard turned out to be made of PLASTIC (made to look like metal) -- the thing fell apart in 3 pieces in my hand. They were CHEAP to buy but turned out to be too expensive -- $11 for 30 minutes' use before self-destructing. A total waste of money.

That old saying , "You get what you pay for" does not apply here. I got more than I paid for.! Love these shears.
