Do not buy
Did not work in my 2014 sierra even after installing a relay kit. One the wires broke loose from the bulb while I was removing the kit. Once I returned the product do to defect/not working i didnt receive a full refund from xentec. After emailing them I got the shipping cost refunded but didn't get the restocking fee back on a broken product. So I lost money and waisted several hours of install/Uninstall time and no light. A company should stand behind there product and give a full refund when there product doesn't work/defective and xentec doesn't do that.

Very bright, but they flicker.
Against my better judgement, I went with HID low beams instead of LED like I should have. Don’t get me wrong these are bright, but the bulbs flicker consistently. And after some diagnostic, determined it is the kit themselves. The HIDs I had prior to this in the factory headlights did not, but were a different brand. The flickering is quite distracting and therefore these will be coming back out and replaced. The plastic clip retainers broke just clipping them in to the ballasts... definitely not the greatest quality for the cost, but it was a decent experiment I guess.

Do not buy, horrible product, no support.
I have installed quite a few HID systems over the years, installation is no different than others. Within 2 weeks the passenger side ballast died. The front end photo is with the xenetec ballast on the driver's side, and a 5 year old model replacing the burnt xenetec. The advertised 55 watts is a blatant lie as you can see the same bulbs driven by 2 different brand ballasts show much different light output. I have called the support number several times and it is nothing but a Google voice line with no mailbox space to leave a message. No one answers nor replies to Sent emails. I have given them over a week to reply, at this point I am ordering a kit from a different brand and returning this one! Stay clear!

The average rating is probably botted and inaccurate. Be warned.
I recieved this product timely with only 1 slightly damaged box. The ballast was bent slightly. Not bad enough to dissuade a dumb decision to try it anyways with a fire extinguisher nearby...Nothing happend thankfully, however that ballast does produce more noise, flickers a touch, and the color is janky.Upon later inspection I noticed the other ballast was splitting. Not even worth the effort for a refund in my opinion. Definetly the cheapest way to get into HIDs. But beware of a sketchy build quality.I'm also skeptical about wattage, however I wont go past this as other factors may have an influence. But I expected an upgrade going from a 35 watt to a 55 watt.....

FALSE, DONT BUY! WATCH MY REVIEW
So I didn’t even get to put it in my car, false advertising. Doesn’t fit H11 or 9005. Because half of it is for either one 🤷🏻♂️ Then the most important piece of the KIT broke within 3 minutes of having the bulbs open.

Not impressed
I have purchased this brand in the past and had good luck with them. This last set are pretty low quality. I have a old Ballast from another company. If I measure the light output at twenty feet. The stock 9012 lamp averages 55 lumens. The old Ballast averages 87 lumens. These average just 43 lumens. Measuring at the headlight it goes like this stock is 12k lumens, the old Ballast is 20k lumens and these are 10k lumens. The stock lamp is 55w the hid lamp is 55w. And i used the same lamp for both Ballast. I won't get these again.

Bright lights but annoying to have to replace so often
Pretty bright. Not the easiest to install. Parts are hard plastic and hard to connect and disconnect. Decent price for what it can do. I’ve been using this brand for th pass 5 years and had to change the bulbs at least once or twice a year.

Try another brand
I purchased this kit for my 2012 Chevy Volt. These 55w headlights were notably dimmer than other similar priced brands I've purchased in the past and both had a minor but constant flicker. After 3 months one of the headlights burned out and caused it's corresponding 15a fuse to go out in the vehicle. The Volt's fuse panels aren't labeled clearly so I had to pull every single fuse to find the culprit, but thankful the problem was a fuse and not the wiring.
