Guilt-Free Flavor with a Sharp, Sweet Twist
I tried the Skinnygirl Sugar-Free, Gluten-Free Poppyseed Salad Dressing and thought it was a light, convenient option when I wanted flavor without a lot of calories. The dressing has a tangy vinegar and lemon bite with a mild poppyseed and onion flavor, so it tastes more sharp and sweetener-forward than a rich, creamy poppyseed dressing. The texture is thin and pourable, which makes it easy to coat big salads without using much, but it wonโt give you that thick, creamy feel you might expect from traditional poppyseed dressings. I liked that itโs fat-free, sugar-free, and gluten-free with about 10 calories in 2 tablespoons, which makes it easy to use on large salads without worrying about calories. However, you can taste the artificial sweetness and the mix of thickeners and additives, so if youโre sensitive to sucralose or maltodextrin or prefer very natural ingredients, this may not be your favorite. Overall, itโs a handy, guilt-free dressing Iโd use when I want something very low-calorie and flavorful, but not when Iโm craving a more natural, creamy, or indulgent poppyseed dressing.

Great tasting, would buy again!
I love southwest ranch dressing on salads, tacos and on blackbean burgers but there are normally so many calories in the big brands. I'm working to shed my winter weight so I need things thst taste good but also have very low calories and are sugar free. This checks off both of those boxes for me. I love skinny girl products and this dressing has become another product favorite for me.

Good attempt but runny and too tangy. Best low calorie ranch thatโs so far tho
Good attempt for low calorie, but too tangy and runny. Itโs extremely challenging to make a low calorie ranch thatโs buttery(anti low calorie lol) and milky smooth like normal ranch so Iโll give 4 stars for one of the best options. Some people expect technology to be advanced 800000years where we have perfect ranch thatโs 1 calorie per bucket but I think everyone needs to be more lenient when rating low calorie options. Of course give criticism though so it can improve and those would be~ runny texture and tangy lemony like kick thatโs overwhelming. It kinda feels like since the fat from buttermilk isnโt there, the kick from the dill or w/e is giving too much tang like tzatziki. Actually yea reminds me of store bought tzatziki instead of ranch so this might be a 10/10 with falafel lol.

Buy it if you love garlic
This Skinnygirl Caesar dressing is a decent option if youโre looking for something low-calorie and sugar-free. The texture is nice and creamy, and it works well for light salads. However, the flavor wasnโt my favoriteโit has a strong garlic taste that can be a bit overpowering. It also comes off slightly artificial compared to traditional Caesar dressings. Overall, itโs okay for healthier eating, just donโt expect a classic Caesar flavor.

DELICIOUS!
We first discovered this brand because the cartoonist, Clay Jones, has been publicly letting people know about his dietary changes as he recovers from a major health crisis. I noticed this brand on his table and since we need some wright loss in our family before a surgery we decided to try it. SO. VERY. TASTY! We have already tried the ginger sesame (recommend it on chicken, and want to try on bean curd, and on a bean salad), and the honey dijon which is great on veggies and likely on meats, too. Weโll be trying a few more, but can not read the ingredients on some of the labels of others so, due to food allergies and those items not having ingredients listed on site, we will not be buying as wide a selection as planned.

Tastes okay, but not sure I'd buy again.
Tried this dressing for the first time last night. Tastes okay, but not sure I'd buy again. Please keep in mind that this review is written from my perspective and particular situation. Although, that said, I'm sure there are others that may be sensitive to salt or that may be interested in sugar. For those that salt is not an issue for them yet, then this review will be of limited interest perhaps, but I hope you will read anyway to just give an awareness of sodium levels in food. Made a small salad with some plain natural (no salt injected) chicken cubes and measured out two tablespoons of dressing. For my size of salad the dressing added enough flavor and was fine. Tasted correct, but I did end up with an after taste. What I noticed immediately was it seemed quite salty tasting and that taste lingered on the tongue. Now, understand, I limit my salt intake. Most high salt food I don't buy and I don't add salt to anything. Something like a frozen pizza, with their typical astronomical amount of salt, is a definite no no for me. That said, I perhaps have taste buds that are more sensitive to salt content than most people because of my limiting intake to low or no sodium foods. If you are the average person who frozen pizzas are fine and you add salt to your plate, then you probably would not notice. To me, the dressing seemed quite salty. The other aspect, where I'm perhaps being picky, is that it is "technically" advertised as "Sugar Free". Sugar actually appears twice in the ingredient list. Then a notation is made at the bottom of the list "Adds a dietarily insignificant amount of sugar." So it does have sugar. I said, "technically" because it is based on the serving size. The rated serving size has a low enough amount of sugar, that it is within regulations to be counted as insignificant enough dietary wise that it can be officially listed as zero. As I said, this is probably being really picky, but often people read the headlines without reading the rest of the text. Also, at a guess, I'd say that there are few that would measure out 2 tbsp serving size and instead would just pour out the dressing amount by eye at what looks and tastes right to them. After all, only 10 calories a serving! That said, that is going to multiply the sugar to the point that it "may" be high enough that it would count under your serving size. Still may be insignificant enough to matter, but there you go, now you know it does have some sugar in it even though a tiny amount per rated serving. As to the salt, if a person eyeballed a 5 tbsp serving of the dressing on their salad, you'd be getting 40% of your daily allowance of sodium in just the dressing alone! If you add other high salt ingredients (cheese, processed chicken, seasoned croutons etc.) you could end up with close to or over your daily allowance of sodium in just one meal. Something to consider...... So, all said and done. An acceptable dressing. Has an okay flavor, but nothing that I would say "Wow, this is great! I definitely need to buy more of this!" Most likely, I will work my way sparingly through this bottle and probably not buy it again. Just not flavorful enough to draw me to purchase again. That and it is too salty for my taste. All the best!
