Unfriendly to sensitive skin, not for dry use
Made to high quality like other LastObject products, but wish I'd known how rough the surface would be. The pads are soft when wet, but I primarily bought these to replace the disposable cotton pads I would normally use to apply toner and liquid exfoliant. Sadly they are absolutely not suited for this. I have sensitive skin on my face and even though I soak the pad with product, the rough texture of the pads has irritated my skin. When dry, the pads are stiff and solid.Design-wise, they're really clever and I love how easy the pads are to clean and dry. If your skin can take a bit of punishment, go for it! They'll be fine in your bathroom or taken with you on travels. I'm hoping to find a bamboo pad alternative I can continue to use with the holder as it is quite well designed.

Used to replace cotton pad for toner
Bought to use in my facial routine to stop throwing away cotton pads. I use them for applying toner only. I washed them before first use in the wash bag that the brand sells. Only used for a few days but applies the toner the same as a cotton pad.

Disappointing so far
Keen to be green and liking the packaging of these reusable cotton pads I ordered some.....not cheap for the amount you get. They are like cardboard to the touch until you add cleanser, then they soften up. I wanted them to clean my eye make up.....this they did effectively BUT when I ran it under the tap to clean as per the advert .....nothing came off. I will be washing it along with my other bamboo cleaning cloths to see if that gets the make up off......

Rough and firm 'last' is a bold claim.
They are appear to be quite tough. However it's more like layered fibres similar to what you get with standard cotton pads, so I don't feel they can be a "last object" since they will likely frey or split, but they would have more than one use. I don't like them because they're incredibly rough and firm. I don't really want to use these on my skin and think that I will get some fabric type ones instead. I'm really underwhelmed actually, I expected them to be a lot better than they are.

The worst reusable cotton pads you can find
First of all, why are pads inside that thing? It honestly was a struggle to get them out. Secondly, the product feels like paper so I doubt it would last for a very long time.Thirdly, the pads are really coarse so they don’t feel nice on skin and I’m sure it would aggravate sensitive skin.
