Everglades Seasoning Sampler Cactus Dust Heat Fish and Chicken Bottles, 6 oz./8 oz, 4 Count

We bought this set for all of our cooking. I have used both the Cactus Dust and the Heat. I prefer the Heat on all my fish (salmon, tilapia, etc.) better than a blackening seasoning. I like the Cactus Dust on burgers and ground beef or anytime I want a little southwest flair. I seldom use the Fish and Chicken seasoning, and have never used the original Everglades seasoning. I guess I have a small list of favorite things that I cook most of the time. But, the Heat and the Cactus Dust are fun to experiment with!

I will try others, but I order set because of Everglades Fish and chicken - it's absolutely best for frying chicken hearts or gizzards.Take big frying pan, pour enough veggy oil to have 1 inch of oil, put package or two of chicken hearts, evenly spreading them on the pan in thin layer, cover in Everglades Fish and chicken spice, close the lid. Put on medium for about 15 min or until water evaporates. Mix , add some more spice, cook 5 more minutes and serve.Fantastic snack! Tastes a bit like cheetos, but meaty and chewy. Good for watching sports!

I feel this is a bit expensive but the flavors are really good. Any meat or grilled vegetables will taste better after a quick sprinkle. They lose a star on a higher than normal price and the cactus dust which is not hot at all.

I love Everglades! I love seasoning my food heavily and this is the answer I've been looking for. And the fact that it comes in a multi pack AND you're supporting a small black owned business?! Absolutely yes!

All of these have good uses. I pick and choose based on what I'm eating or what I feel like, but I enjoy them all. Good for beef, pork, chicken or fish.
