My dogs love these
My dogs love these, which is the ultimate praise. From my perspective, there are a few "if's." I ordered two bags, and both bags have tags that state the rawhide is from South America (but processed and/or packaged in USA.) I am actually ok with that as most cow products from Brazil and Argentina are usually "free range, grass fed." BUT, I can not guarantee that about this product. However, my dogs are fine with no tummy issues nor poop changes, so far, and it's been a few weeks since they started chomping on these. Both of the two bags I received contained mostly HUGE chips, though. Surprisingly thick as well as large. I have had to cut them in half, and that has not been easy to do, even with a heavy sharp knife. The plus side of the thickness of these rawhide chips is that my dogs have not tried to swallow any remnants, but wow do they go to town with chewing them down.My summary review: my dogs love them and though aggressive chewers these last longer than other rawhide chips for them, the price is right, BUT you might need to cut them in half and that's not easy because they are thick. "Ultra Chewy" = ultra gnawing (but that's not a bad thing.)

Good and a good price. Not especially thick but pretty consistent thickness.
So these weren't any thicker than those in the 10 lb box I usually buy (also on Amazon) but they were more consistent in thickness. I don't see any big deal with them coming from Brazil--I'm more concerned about having a product that doesn't have dye in it; I don't think it's necessary and it stains things. I rescue dogs and have visiting "granddogs" so have a chance to see the chewies with everything from big dogs to toy size. I have chewers who will go through two in the time it takes a different dog to go through one. Some chew half and then leave them Just individual dogs' preferences. I save the thicker ones for the chewers. I think if you have a dog who is a real chewer you might want to go to a bone style. The price wasn't bad--less expensive per pound than other products.

Quality and cheaper than Walmart.
Used to buy Cadet dog chew rolls.. until they got dry and NASTY. Crumbs everywhere from the tiny dried out pieces they stuffed inside the roll! Cadet used to be a GOOD product. Now I got this, and it was better than the 11lb box I was getting from another distributer... and so far no discolored iffy looking ones! They all look clean and more fresh than the other two distributers I used to be a customer to. I bought Cadet brand for TWO YEARS until they changed their product to some hellish version of a chew. Yes, I will be a regular until they up their prices, or start bagging something inferior like the other distributors I have tried. My baby needs her "sedative" treat! Yeah, she's real content with this. Rottweiler/ black lab, a senior citizen in her own right.

My dog loves these, but a mixed bag of sizes and thicknesses
My dog loves these so I can't complain about the flavor or taste, but the pieces are all over the map. They all seem to be about 2 and a half inches wide, but the length ranges from perfect squares to 5-6 inches long. One long one is too much for my dog, so I have end up having to cut them in half. This isn't an issue, but some are easy to cut as they're thin as paper, but some pieces are as thick as 3 or 4 credit cards. There's no consistency in size or thickness in these chews. (see picture of 2 pieces with dramatically different thicknesses)

We have three dogs who love chewies. I chose these because they seems to be good quality chewies without a lot of chemicals. I make my own chicken jerky at home for our dogs and their diet is restricted to wet homemade/grain free food so I care a lot about what they consume. They do like these chewies but they are just a little on the thicker side for our two smaller guys. They're perfect for larger dogs though.

A good chew
My three golden retrievers are quite satisfied with these rawhide pieces, and I am pleased that there are varying thicknesses, as I have two dogs who like thinner pieces and one for whom a thicker piece is appropriate. I could only wish that it was possible to order by thickness, thin, medium, or thick.

Good deal.
I used to buy the 5 lb. bags of rawhide chips from green cow but these are a better deal since the green cow price went to over $40. Still can't understand how rawhide is so expensive but at less than $18 for 3# these are a good value.

Some are too big/thick
Wish the chips were not so thick and/or big. They are impossible to cut and it's really more rawhide than we like to give our dog at one time. Some of them are so thick that our 85-pound Labrador retriever won't even chew them.
