I'm very happy with these wheels. I used them for my workbench. They seem very sturdy and well made. I was very impressed with how securely they lock. Not only does the wheel lock, but also the rotation/swivel locks, so my workbench is very stable when they are locked. I was worried it would wobble with caster wheels on it but I can't feel any wobble at all. When unlocked I can move hundreds of pounds effortlessly.The only down side is I had to make a separate trip to the hardware store to get the screws. No screws are included.

The media could not be loaded.  I made three mobile carts for my wood shop this summer using dimensional lumber and hardware from my local orange home center. I paid $8.98 for each 3” caster with locking brake (and swivel), rated at 175 lbs. max weight. That is $35.92 for a set of four casters, plus tax.I just finished another wood cart and have another to build, so I purchased from Online Best Service, two 4 pack sets of 3” caster wheels with locking brake (and swivel), rated at 250 lbs. max weight. Each pack of four casters was $23.99 or $6.00 a caster, plus tax.I tried to use 3/8” hex bolts to mount the Online Best Service casters, but the pre-drilled holes were not quite big (Mounting hole dimensions: 0.32" (8.3mm) x 0.46" (11.9mm)) enough to slide the bolt through. Instead, I used 1/4” hex bolts, to mount the casters to the cart.The Online Best Service caster looks quite similar to the casters sold at my local orange home center, but the Online Best Service caster specs out better and is CONSIDERABLY less money.I’m very pleased with the price and quality so far. Only time will tell how well the caster performs. At least I have two different brands to compare with.I ordered (Prime) these casters on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., and they arrived on Saturday, October 27, 2018. On Wednesday, October 31, 2018, OBS Customer Service followed up with an email. So far so good, and two thumbs up!

Everything I hoped for in a castor and I'm pretty picky. These are excellent quality, roll smooth and are very sturdy. The locks work well. Mine arrived as a deeper red than I expected from the pictures however I suspected as much as I read other reviews first so there were no surprises. I would easily buy these again if I needed more castors.

I always try to buy US made products and these are from China but they seem to be of good quality. I bought them for a dolly that I mounted an air compressor hose and reel on. All four swivel so they position themselves well on non leveled surfaces and when you engage the locks, not only do they prevent the wheels from rolling but they also prevent them from swiveling. Again, this works well on my non level driveway - the dolly is stable and doesn't slide around when pulling and retracting the compressor hose. The wheels are heavy, they roll and swivel smoothly and don't feel cheap or sloppy. These work perfectly for my needs.

(This report is an update after 6 months of use of these casters - only minor edits and no change in stars)I do woodworking a as (fairly serious) hobby, and recently I wanted to rearrange my shop. While that sounds easy (and is in concept), I decided to put all of the major hardware on wheels. That really meant "the REST of the hardware" as the table- and band-saws were already on wheels, as were the drill press, one of the router tables, and both vacuum systems. So really I only had to "mobilize" the other router table. the jointer, and the planer I had wheels for the 2nd router table already (though I hadn't installed them yet) so started by getting this set for the jointer.I'm happy to report that after building a frame to attach to the jointer's stand's legs (It's the RIDGID, BTW), these installed in only a few minutes. And the most difficult (read time-consuming) part was lifting one end of the jointer to put the frame and wheels on the first 2 legs on one end and then repeating that same step for the other pair.)The installation went very smoothly, and I'm happy to report that:a) the full locking of the wheels (no rotate, no roll) works perfectly;b) unlocking is as easy and painless as locking - with the desired results no less; andc) the 200-lb plus jointer now rolls easy and steps over power cords and the like with no problems. The capacity for these casters is 250-lbs each, so while I don't plan to add a ton of weight to its top to see what would happen, it did work will with 4 50-lb lead blocks added to the jointer (just to see what would happen).So far these have given me no problems whatsoever and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a set of casters in this size and load range.UPDATE AT 6 MONTHS: They still work perfectly, exactly as they did on day 1. I'm a very happy camper and have just ordered another set for the other router table.

These wheels are solid and lock very well. They lock and unlock with a satisfying *snap* which holds well, but it's too hard to change from locked to unlocked and vice-versa. Quick and easy to install with some screws and washers.I put these on a workbench and I was worried that there might be some slop or wobbling if they didn't lock well, but I haven't had that problem. My workbench isn't extremely heavy, but it's probably a couple hundred pounds. I have a mitre saw and table saw built into my workbench, which adds some weight an requires a pretty stable platform. With even 2 wheels locked it's pretty stable, but with all 4 locked, it's just as stable as it was when it was stationary.When the wheels are unlocked it rolls very freely, even with considerable weight onboard. This makes it very easy to roll it up against the wall for storage and out to work on something even for a quick project. That's a huge benefit, I didn't want this to be a chore to move out or put away.

These casters seem very sturdy. Installed them on workbench today and they are exactly what I needed and work excellent.
