Q: What’s the best color for ruddy pale skin? To counteract heat caused redness? Olive or ash?

Both would work brilliantly - but probably more so the ash - it will mask more of the ruddy undertone and appear more "brown" tan rather than orangy-tan. you can't go wrong with either, though. I have used both and feel the ash gives a slightly lighter tan than the Olive. I am pale, freckles, pink/red undertones. Good luck!

Q: What's the best color to counteract and subdue yellow tones? My neck and chest is weirdly yellow, while my face is more pink/cool.

To counter yellow, use the violet minetan self tanner. Violet also works well on my skin, and I have very pink cool undertones. The violet gives very naturally pretty color results!! Good luck!!

Q: Is there alcohol in this product?

All of MineTan's products are alcohol free. I grabbed my bottle to check the ingredients just to make sure and there is no alcohol listed in the full ingredients on the bottle. It has a lot of oils in it to help not dry the skin out, which is wonderful for your skin!

Q: Has anyone with cool undertones used this with good results? I've read you're suppose to use a tanner with undertones opposite of your own.

I believe it would work fine. I have never heard that s as id before. Very few orange based ones work for me. Other brands that I like are Tan Towel and Kate Somerville tanning wipes.
