I bought the motor separate from the container and lid, so will leave another review for that item also, but the seal does not stay, since I only have one container, I left the motor on the lid (which I contacted the company and they said it was okay to do) but the seal does not hold and the batteries wear out in a very short time. When the seal is set, it works great, but it doesn't hold the seal for very long, in fact I would hear the motor running off and on when ever I was in the kitchen. Does not work for my purposes
