Aluminum Frame Mount for GoPro Hero 5 Session 4 Session Hero Session, CNC Aluminum Alloy Solid Protective Case with Wrench -Blue

I just received this case in the mail and was a little worried about it due to some of the reviews I had read on Amazon. Let me tell you, this is an incredible case! I absolutely love it! Not only does it look great but it also offers a ton more protection than the plastic one that comes with the session. My biggest concern regarding the case was weather or not it would fit in the GoPro float accessory. It is a tight fit but it does still work. Buttons are a little hard to get to but not bad enough to deem it unusable. Over all this is a great investment and upgrade to your hero session and I would highly recommend it!-The two, one-star reviews for this product make no sense after receiving the case and examining it myself.-The two-star review stating that the case rattles does not apply to mine. The case fits perfectly!-The three-star review is right about having to screw the screws in a bit tighter to get a secure fit but its not that bad and definitely not a good reason to not get this case! I also had no problem securing my GoPro to other mounts, even with a massive float on it!P.S. I am not being paid to write this review nor did I receive this product for free or a discounted price. I am only writing this because I hate it when good products don't get the good reviews they deserve! Defiantly try it out! Worth the money!

Lightweight, durable, and stainless. Fits like factory, but so much better.

I will definitely endure falls if they happen, very good fit and awesome color. Only issue I found was when installed to my headband mount it doesn't allow it to sit flush, like looking forward. Like the holes might be too low on this piece, but its no big deal because i angle down anyways for when i record my fishing. Other than that its really good.

I have a Hero 5 Sessions and this case is perfect. I feel like my GoPro is being protected by a tank, super heavy duty. But lightweight. Very stylish, sleek design. The back slide comes off easily but is secure when closed. And every button is easily accessible, even the little door for the charging portal and memory card. It easily opens while still in the case.

The aluminum housing seems to be well made and fits the Hero Session 5 perfectly. However, the plastic part that attaches to the mount is very flimsy. Mine broke after detaching it from the mount for the first time.Update: After I contacted the seller (Nechkitter), they sent me a replacement part for the plastic bit which broke. This is a very nice frame, but the weakest part seems to be the plastic foot. I will be rigging some sort of tether so I don't lose the frame and camera if it happens again.

Bought this little gem with the intent on mounting it to the tail of my race bike. After having it for a half season I can tell you that it holds up very well to anything you can throw at it. I've had the full weight of my bike impact this case. The impact broke my tail and subframe but didn't scratch this case. Love the sliding door release mechanism.

Both of the plastic frames that came with our GoPro Session cracked. This won't. The camera fits snugly in the frame, the frame fits (very) snugly in the plastic mounts, and the sliding back piece keeps it in place so far. That, and the blue matches my bike.

Great quality, and I chose blue so that if I drop the camera it will be easier to find. It's really nicely designed and manufactured.

Bought the Nechkitter about a month ago to replace the busted plastic camera holder which had come with my GoPro Hero Session. The camera fits comfortably within the frame, and rubber inserts in the cornices of the frame keep it snugly in place without any wiggling around. While the metal frame is a bit thick, and makes it a tiny bit more difficult to manipulate the controls, I can access them all without any real problem. The slide-in rear of the frame latches securely so far. Have now used it with the camera a half dozen times and very happy with it. The only thing I can't comment on is durability, but it is metal, so I suspect that won't be an issue. I'll be back to edit this if anything changes.

Weirdly enough I could have sworn when I ordered this. It was described as having the back bolted down with a allen headed bolt. But it would appear they have upgraded the design with a friction nob to hold it, Its a snug fit for my hero 4,Will be interested how it behaves This winter in Winnipeg. The wrench is a waste of metal and will no doubt find its way to the back of the tool box. As the black tripod mount is plastic and not hard to tighten at all The case itself I am more then impressed with though. Edit.
