I feel like it takes longer than 8 -10 mins which is completely fine. I do agree with other reviews I wish it had a timer or turned it self off after the cleaning. If you forget it will keep turning it self back on. I use this for my disc and it fits perfectly. I wasn’t sure if it would. I still hand clean my disc but I also boil for extra sanitation. Seems to work great though. Gets extremely hot, put my hand over the hole in the lid accidentally and could definitely burn yourself.

I use this every month and it’s so handy to have around. It stores so easily and looks so cute to have displayed on the counter when in use

I can’t believe I’m just now finding out about this. I’ve been a diva cup user for almost 15 years, and I wish I had known about this on day one! It’s so easy to use and gets the cup so clean. I’ve been using it every time I take it out and I feel so much cleaner. You NEED this if you use menstrual cups!

I'm not sure if this is really worth it. When I used it for my menstrual cup, when I removed my cup, there was white residue on it. I use the brand Flex which is similar to how a tampon is because it has a drawstring (loop) that helps break the seal around the cervix which could be uncomfortable when using some other cups without being able to break the seal without making a mess. I find it easier to just wash it by hand with soap & hot water.
