For a student
I have a student who hates reading so every month I agreed to buy him a “Who Would Win” book. His reading has improved so much.

Love the paperback
My son saw this book on you tube and he told me mommy I want this book because I love whales and squids. He was super excited when he opened the box and the book was in there. Been reading it to him and his been reading too. Love that the pages are easy for him to turn. Definitely worth buying.

Jam-packed with Interesting Facts
My son is in 2nd grade, and he's the perfect age for this series. We read them aloud when he was 5 and 6 and they held his attention, but they were too long for him to read independently. The entire book is spent building up to the "fight", so I wish the fight itself lasted longer than 2 pages. It's always over in the blink of an eye. I do like that they are a little open-ended. It makes for some good discussion after the book is over. If your kid likes non-fiction, I highly recommend this series.

Fabulous series
If you have an elementary aged child, please be sure to buy at least a few of the books in this fun, fascinating series. You child will learn interesting facts about the animals while trying to determine which of the animals would win in a fight. The child bases his guess on the facts learned about the animals. We read these with our grandson and we enjoy the books as much as he does!

Lots of interesting facts
Cute educational booklet. It informs children that whales are mammals and touches upon some of the difficulties of being an open ocean mammal. It explains the hunt for a whale oil before the use of petroleum and even talks about the whale’s echolocation system a little bit. It mentions that squids are mollusks and even discusses the classics, Moby Dick and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. That’s pretty good for a kid’s book.
