Golden Throat Lozenge Cough Drops (Jinsangzi Houpian) 20 Drops (1.4oz) X 8 Boxes

I was in China when I first bought these cough drops. I found Golden Throat to be very effective with a pleasant taste without just being another candy drop.

THE REAL CHINESE STUFF: I already knew that this stuff was great, after having gotten some from my Chinese acupuncturist. He is Chinese, the Acupuncture he does is Chinese, and so are these drops. They do more for me than simply help with coughs; they help to balance systems in my body. They help clear my head and therefore my mind, while also having mental and physical stimulation effects.STRONG: Sometimes, I cannot finish a whole drop; they are that strong.BALANCING ACT: The drops help when I seem to have something that I cannot pinpoint to a part of the body or a system of the body, like just feeling funky because the humidity is too high or low. I take one of these drops and it helps balance and stabilize me. They also affect my mood in a positive way, somehow.HANDY: I benefit from these things so much that I buy them by the case, and I keep them all around the house and with me wherever I go.

I first discovered these cough drops while I was in China. I got a cold with a strong cough and sore throat and my wife got these for me. They really helped soothe my throat and helped me control my cough. I would let one dissolve in my mouth while I slept and I was able to sleep the whole night without constant coughing. I swear that these drops also shorten the length of colds. With other drops, my cough and sore throat would come right back after finishing but not with these! When my wife came to the US she brought several packages but we eventually ran out. We were so happy to find them here on Amazon and with Prime shipping. I won't use any other lozenge than this one. The flavor is great and the menthol really helps soothe your sore throat.

I have Barrett's esophagus. When medications do not prevent acid reflux when I am sleeping, I get uncontrollable cough and rancid burn that nothing helped. This happened in China on vacation. My tour guide gave me these and instantly, within the the time span of eating one lozenge, I had relief. I was sad when I got home to the USA and realized I should have purchased extra. I was happy to learn from an online search, I could order these from China. They were here in a week. If you have GERD or symptoms of severe gastric burning, you will not find a better OTC antidote than these!

These are great little ,powerful cough drops. They do the trick at soothing irritated throats. Each box comes with 2=3 small packets inside each containing about 8 cough drops. Only downside is, the drops get "sticky" if pouch remains open. Would be nice if the packets were resealable.

With the awful air pollution in China, these drops were a savior. The Chinese guide passed themout free knowing we'd be buying them later like candy. Was lucky to find these through Amazonso we used them in Korea and Japan trips. Stops the cough and sooths the throat like no other.

this Chinese herb is much stronger a cough suppressant than those available in US pharmacies. I enjoy its strong cooling and soothing effect. However what I receive is a product manufactured in Apr 2013, not out-dated, but still not descent for medicine, should watch out for this seller

I was teaching at the Suzhou, China technical college when I developed a sore throat/cold. The faculty brought me Golden Throat Lozenge drops that worked wonders for me, especially helping me to stop coughing in the middle of the night. I tried other cough drops when I got back to the U.S but nothing worked like Golden Throat Lozenges.
