I thought these were full size pot holders but they are handle covers for cast iron skillets

This is my second purchase for this item. My pots are all the old heavy Capholon. Those handles get hot. They do not slip off the handle. Will be back for more.

These handle holders are vibrant in color, and look so fun and stylish slipped on a skillet handle. They do a great job of protecting my hand from hot handles, but only short-term. I can hold the covered handle long enough to rotate my skillet, or move it from heat, but the holder isn't protective enough for me to hold onto a hot handle long enough to perform a longer task, such as transferring food from the skillet to a serving dish.

These little mitts for your pan handles are cute and functional. I gave it a 4 stars for heat resistance as one can still get burned with these on. you would get burned if you stood there holding onto the handle for a bit. Use this on stovetop. doesn't do well if the pan and handle were in the oven. Overall I really LIKE these handle mitts.

These are great for pot and pan handles like copper and iron that get hot. I only gave a 4 star because there is a foam inside instead of a terry cloth. The first time I used one the foam was sticking to the handle because of the heat. After that I made sure it didn't go all the way down the handle. As long as it keep it away from the base where the handle is attached it seems to work well. I loved the Southwestern pattern and color.

A must have when cooking with cast iron. After a month of use they are holding up fine. They insulate the heat fine and the price is right. I rather the cloth style as opposed to silicone due to the fact that they slide on/off with little effort. The silicone always requires two hands to get them in place on larger pans. Great purchase at a great price!

Made the switch from stainless to Teflon after watching a recent Netflix documentary. Was concerned about how I would remember to not touch the handles and stumbled upon these beauties. I was boiling water for my morning coffee in a smaller pot on high my 2nd day in use and the material did melt at the end. These are great for less high heat situations.
