Biocalculus: Calculus, Probability, and Statistics for the Life Sciences

Any calculus text by James Stewart is almost guaranteed to be superb and this didn't disappoint. His explanations are thorough and complete and his "homework" problems cover the full spectrum of what you need to know to use calculus for science.

I did not read all the book, but I looked around it and I liked too much what I saw.

Terrible. Chapter 5 is completely missing sections and repeating pages.

The book is missing pages 313-336.

This book is really clear, concise, and practical. I'm a System Engineer currentry starting biology studies, and I chosed this book between various options available. I love the clean presentation and easy reading. There are many working problems available to try on each topic. Exampleas are easy to follow. No aparetn mistakes as another books. There are other great books, but this is working very well for me.

Used this book for University of Maryland's MATH 130 and MATH 131 class.Wanted to write this review to help out fellow students in their textbook search.

My math teacher needed students to have this book for homework, and so I got the online version. Very convenient and looks just like the actual textbook!
