Love the small [26mm] diameter and slim profile. Feels very comfortable on wrist. Is easy to adjust wristband and seems to keep time accurately. The watch face is quite simple and stylish, exactly what I wanted. I need the second hand for counting pulses and the added feature of a date is a plus. The fact that I will never need to change a battery is the key reason for this eco-drive Bering watch purchase and I am very happy with my decision. It comes in a very clever cloudy glass jar which contains a white pillow and drawstring bag. [In comparison to the usual watch boxes that have no purpose after removing the watch] This 'jar' with a cover, as well as the drawstring bag, can be used for many things now other than storing the watch and the pillow can be used to stuff a shoe or as a stress ball or whatever.... Kudos to the Bering team for their innovative packaging. and YES I recommend this watch.

I absolutely love this watch, it is both silver and gold so all my rings go with it, it is solar so no worrying about a battery, it is a great size, not to big or small. Bering is a great brand of watch, this is my second one. Keeps perfect time. The band is easily adjustable.

I am a traditionalist who still wears a watch, and I like it to have a date. I am a tall person with a small wrist, so finding a watch that's readable, has a date, is not too huge, and looks good is a bit of a challenge. This watch fits the bill. I don't love the face as much as my fancy Raymond Weil, but this one costs less and doesn't need batteries. Very happy with the style, and the band is comfortable. However, the band is still way too long (it's easy to adjust it yourself) so I may see if I can get it shortened.

No instructions for buckle readjustment, difficult to set safety catch. I lost it the first night I wore it, found by my hostess, returned and replacement watch has the same issue. Scared to wear it outside my house.

I bought the watch exactly one year ago, my wife used it almost every day.The color is still great, nothing chipped off. In fact, gold looks like real gold and fits well with jewelry.Screen as zero scratches. And not having the change batteries is a breeze.Overall this is the best looking small watch I have bought in the last few years.It's worth spending a few extra dollars on this and getting something decent.

Have had this watch less than a year and the strap has already broken, it will no longer latch properly and keeps falling off because of it.

I have a list of "need"s when getting a watch and this checks all of them: sapphire crystal face, a second hand, and date display. It's beautiful and feminine, but not too flashy. I have gold and silver rings so i like that it matches both of them. It seems pretty water resistant (I take it into the shower with me.I wish the face were a little prettier. Maybe it's the solar technology that makes it look matte and dull, but it kind of looks to be the texture of printer paper. Additionally, the second hand doesn’t perfectly align with the number tick marks on the face. Finally, I have never gotten gold-polished stainless steel so I am nervous the gold part around the face won’t look too sharp in a few months. I haven’t noticed any scratching or diminishing gold color, but it is a concern of mine.Overall a good watch. Like another said, the face is smaller than expected, but I think it works with the proportions of the band (and looks good on my wrist).

I have been looking for a watch such as this for a few years and I found it in this time piece. Excellent workmanship, design, and solar charge. Price phenomenal. Packaging was like non other. Thank you so much, I am over the moon with my new watch.Update: Hubby bought me this watch and after wearing this watch for a few weeks, I have one concern. I have a small wrist and the band, which I try to tuck under the band constantly, keeps on peeking out which is annoying and I have to adjust it constantly. Perhaps the company should look into sizing their bands in small, medium and large. The band is stylish and one of the reason I chose this watch. Still love it though.

Bering makes watches which are not cheap but are distinctly minimalist and of very high quality. You will not see them on every other wrist. This particular watch is absolutely beautiful with shades of white and gold and a beautiful silvery mesh band, very easy to adjust. It has a highly legible date feature. It is very accurate and makes no sound to betray its function. Powered by solar (with a fully charged watch remaining able to function for up to a year) enabling a quartz engine to "keep the lights on," this watch is at the same time elegant and functional. No more battery changes or expensive automatic mechanism servicing every three to four years. Both the watch itself and the stylish mesh band are most pleasant to both the eye and the touch, this lovely watch makes you feel good just wearing it! It may remind some of the design elements of Skagen but that is where the comparison stops. Far better made and in my opinion better looking than Skagen, the Bering represents all of the noteworthy elements of intelligent and aesthetic Danish design. This watch looks good in a casual or more formal setting. While made of top-quality materials, it should not be subjected to abuse despite its sapphire crystal. Wrapped securely, my wife's watch arrived in perfect condition and before long was adorning her right wrist. She loves it as, I should hazard an opinion, as most any lady would. This uncommonly tasteful timepiece comes very highly recommended, both the watch and the seller.

Die Solar Uhr von Bering gefällt mir besonders gut,Im Design sowie auch in der Funktionalität.Eine kurze Zeit nach dem Auspacken fing sie sofort an zu laufen. Sie trägt sich prima und sieht dazu noch edel aus.

Elle a beaucoup plu à ma femme, elle a la bonne taille pour un petit poignet. Pratique elle est solaire donc pas de problème de pile à changer.

It's very dainty watch. The mesh strap is very fine and quite thin makes the watch look just right. I am very pleased as this is a birthday present for me. I usually wear Swatch but was fed up with that look. So pleased I chose this plus I like that it's solar powered.
