Excellent value
This product was excellent. Especially the value. I thought they might be TOO dry and chewy when I first saw them through the clear bag. I was wrong. They are plump and super flavorful. I use them for various things. I put them in homemade nougat, cookies and trail mixes. I have compared them with our lock products. I pay $5.99 for 5 oz here, so this is amazing deal. Costco has an OK deal, but I can never guarantee they will have them. I have used these for 4-5 different recipes and I’m only halfway through my big bag. Yummy just eating them plain too. ENJOY!!

Great in breakfast cereal.
Dried sweet tart cherries, what's there not to like? Toss 'em in the breakfast cereal along with some dried cranberries, almond slices and sunflower seeds to provide some flavor to those boring flakes. Also good in salads, and sprinkle into fruit salads. Very refreshing. Good to snack on while watching a movie too.

Excellent product, good value
Cherries tend to be pricey, and this is a good price. I like the product in my baking and would buy again.

Unbelievable Bad Taste
This is the second time I have purchased these cherries. The first time they were very tasty, this time they were horrible. I can't even describe the taste, but nothing at all like cherries. They are sort of like unripened fruit but there is also a sort of fermented taste as well.

Taste very little like cherries and more like prunes to me...
I'm not impressed with them. This is my first time trying dried cherries, and truthfully, these taste more like a cross between a raisin and a prune. I'm sure that putting them into baked goods will give the baked goods an interesting flavor, but for now, i'll stick to craisins for my cereal. I've had dried cherries and other dried fruits in the past and they've tasted like the fruit it was dried from, but this... this is a different animal. They aren't bad for snacking, if mixed with chocolate chips and nuts. I believe they'll keep me regular if nothing else. Overall, i judge them to be meh.

Delicious, and a great value too
I really wanted unsweetened tart (Montmorency) cherries. These are a larger variety of cherry. However, these are a great value. To eliminate their added sugar, and reduce their natural sugar:1) Put 1 qt of them in a jar that you have a lid for.2) Add 1/4 cup of fresh, home-made (and still active) fruit cider*3) Shake and rotate the closed jar so as to wet all the cherries.4) Store the jar inside a dark cabinet for at least one full day before eating.* The active cider can be easily prepared from commercially obtained organic (preservative free) fruit juice that you have already fermented via kefir grains. You now have not only desugared this item, you have prepared it to be equal or better to what Mariani brand currently markets as probiotic dried fruit.

So so delish.
So good. Great prize too. Be careful! We got addicted to putting them in salads, sautéed Brussel sprouts, oatmeal, cereal, and made an absolute killer jam spread.
