Working on miniature Metal model set and my old needle nose weren't cutting it. This set was perfect.

I really like the snips, they are great. The thicker pliers are very nice. My problem is the needle nose pliers are too thick at the end for my use. I use them to make metal models and they are just not narrow enough for some projects

They're crooked and need to be finished prior to use or you'll slice up your fingers or find a steel splinter somewhere. Very crude.

The jaws of the pliers are poorly milled. There are gaps that span the length of both pliers. I bought these for metal models to help bend and shape pieces, but they warp the metal and just don’t do the job well at all. You get what you pay for. However, they’re still useful and come in handy in certain situations. I’m thinking about grinding them myself to help close the gaps, but it might be easier and best to just get a quality set.

I gave it a great rating as far as value and comfort...but the long nose needle nose pliers, which is what I really only needed, came to me and they don't even close all the way at the tip, and won't hold my 3D metal model pieces, which was why I wanted it. I'm not satisfied for this reason. The main tool I needed, and wanted, won't do the job it was designed to do. I don't want to deal with the headache of requesting a replacement or have to go out of my way to return it, so it'll just go into my junk drawer and not be used.
