Nachdem meine alte "Insekten-Tränke" aus Beton nach 2 Jahren durch den Frost zerrissen wurde, habe ich mir nun diese "Kunststoff-Tränke" gekauft. Gibt natürlich noch keine Langzeiterfahrung, macht aber zunächst einen sehr guten Eindruck, speziell als Wasserstelle für Insekten. Durch die Abstufung können die Hummeln jeweils bis zum äusseren trockenen Rand fliegen und dann das erfrischende Wasser genießen, ohne dabei hineinzufallen und zu ertrinken. Die Schale steht bei mir leicht erhöht auf dem Gartenboden, ist somit für die Hummeln und Bienen und auch für unsere Eichhörnchen gut zu erreichen. Als Vogel-Badewanne würde ich das Teil weniger empfehlen, dafür ist zu wenig Wasser vorhanden. Zum Baden habe ich eine weitere Schale. DIESE Tränke ist optimal für Insekten geignet, habe mir jetzt noch eine zweite bestellt.

We purchased this product as although the birds loved our previous bird bath unfortunately it was made if metal and was prone to rust. This bath is so safe with and as the base is graduated it attracts all kind of birds and bees.
