Although this wig was cheap and I did have my doubts about purchasing it. It really isn't bad at all. Gonna trim a little and should be good to wear. Colors are really nice.

When I received this alternative hair piece I noticed that it had quite a bit of permatease in it and I am not a fan in any way of permatease. Yes, sometimes it is needed to add some lift, but generally, I find it overdone and it makes the hair look like a helmet. It's my feeling that Permatease should be listed on the wig description just like they do mono cap, lace front etc. It would save a lot of returns.The cap on the wig has a lace portion in the front and an open weave below. It does have permatease, so there is no realistic part. The hair is various shades of dark to golden blonde that are blended nicely like Raquel Welch's wigs. It is silky and moves realistically. This is not a shaded root piece. It has a bit of a shine that can be dealt with either by using dry shampoo sprayed on it or soaking it in water and baking soda. The permatease is too much for me so my goal was to decrease it in two ways. The first is to comb the rows backwards exposing a lot of the permatease and pulling it out bit by bit. This is a job to attack while watching a good movie. After I finished the top section I combed it all in place and took the steamer to it and flattened it all. Those two measures got it to the point that I didn't look like I came from the "big hair" era. The fibers are not heat friendly but I've found I can get around that by using steam very carefully. At this price point, I think that I can risk experimenting with it and not get nervous. Because of the permatease, I would not wear this for work or any special occasion, but it's fine for something casual. At least I know that a short bob is a style I wouldn't cut my bio hair in, but it's fun in the alternative hair!!

My reason for purchasing this was for a gag at a party. This wig looks much better than I ever expected. I do have a large head and it was a bit small for me. Anyway, the party didn't happen. I returned the wig as it was a bit small for me. The hair was a bit course but it still looked good. Worth the cost.

There's a lot of hair in the front. Didn't look bad and I liked the color so I was going to try and work with it. Then as I was turning it around on the stand I noticed the back hair was thin and the tracks and ribbon showed through in places. Still wouldn't have been bad except the cap they used for mine is bright yellow, like one that should be used for a golden blond color. Why not white since the wig is white back there?I don't recommend this wig or this brand. The photos they show of the wig being worn by a pretty model don't show the wig they're selling. For this wig they're using a photo of Billie by Noriko which goes for about $200-250. Of course this $20 wig isn't going to look like that. The customer photos are very helpful but they don't always show all sides. The photos on the mannequin head did show all sides but they didn't show how thin the back hair was or that the cap was bright yellow. So look at my photos and decide for yourself if the back is going to bother you or not and purchase accordingly.

Luckily it arrived ok but it was in a zip lock bag that could have opened up during transit. No box, no tape just unzip the one zip closing and pull it out in its hairnet. I don't care for this type of packaging. I felt lucky it arrive in good shape. I did wash it before wearing it especially because the packing job was substandard for protecting the product.The wig is pretty but is less balayage looking than the photos, more ombre looking. The color is pretty and it is comfortable to wear. It washed well. Overall it is a good value for the money.

This is a beautiful wig! I'm normally a medium brown to an ash blond. I didn't think I could pull off a blond wig. But this wig is so pretty anybody could look great in it. I love it.

So why only 4 stars? As is usual with wigs, it needs to be taken to the beautician to be shaped. Hair is longer on one side than the other, but it also has less hair on that side. The same side is definitely having a permanent spit curl even after using a 130 degree curling iron on it after setting it damp in a curl to go the other direction. The upper part on the same side has no curl. None the less if you get creative with styling and hair adornments, it is wearable and you will get compliments. It will be better after a trip to the beauty salon.In case you are new to wearing wigs, use some dry shampoo on it to take away some of the shininess if it looks like doll hair. (Some do some don't) Light colors seem to be that way more than darker ones. Finally I will give you the order in which I prepare my head to go out and if you don't wear something, skip the step.First the wig cap or band if you have strays peeking out from under the wig. Then your make-up making sure to blot it well (or it will be on your wig/hair. Then put on your clothes. After that put on the wig and style it, add your behind the ear hearing aids, and finally your glasses or sunglasses. Add earrings or jewelry and hair adornments if you are going to wear them. This wig does not have ear tabs and after trying both ways I would suggest the hearing aids be put on after rather than before the wig. It seems to make them play nicer that way and if you need to either tuck your hair in or pull some of the hair out of the edge of the wig, the handle of a small rat-tail comb or very fine crochet hook works well.

Color medium auburn not reddish brown as described. There are no blonde highlights or blonde anywhere to be seen. Wig is very shiny, not natural, and top heavy. The longer hair in back and sides began to cause itching on my neck. If top was thinner and wig less shiny it would have made a huge difference in style. Had to return.
