I have really pale, olive tone skin and tend toward fair-light neutral shades. The alabaster is actually a really great color for me. It’s a teeny bit warmer than a true neutral, but it helps make me look a little less pale without my face appearing to be a different color than the rest of my body. i’ve actually paled out even more recently, and I’m going back for the shell color for around the jaw line to blend better. While it is relatively matte, I still do get shiny in the afternoon, but that could be due to my other face products and not using powder. It is super lightweight, just a little bit heavier than a BB cream, and about medium coverage. It won’t cover my dark circles on its own but takes care of the rest of my face and I just add some Almay concealer for my circles. I agree with other reviews that price and utility wise, I do like it better than several more expensive brands, especially for daily wear. I have something separate and much thicker (and less comfortable) for the rare times I need full coverage.

I switched to this as a more affordable alternative to IT Cosmetics, and it’s been amazing! I have oily, acne-prone skin, and this gives me smooth, even coverage without feeling heavy or causing breakouts. Great quality for the price!

i usually don’t leave reviews but this stuff is so good!!! mid-20s and still acne-prone, i was having the worst comedogenic breakouts of my life, but when i started using this (along with cleansing 2x daily with micellar water and salicylic acid) my skin smoothed out so much. i get so many compliments that my skin is glowing! i notice a difference on days i don’t wear this - it’s so much smoother and brighter when i do. coverage is great and it takes the time and effort out of using concealer. makes getting ready in the morning so much faster.giving it 4 stars because it can get cakey. a little goes a long way! also the shades are lacking. if you aren’t sure about the shade, get the two that match best and mix. porcelain is very yellow!highly recommend this product especially if you’re acne-prone :)

Good coverage. Good price

On the surface from a distance this does great evening out your complexion. Hides pretty well and you think wow this is great! Then you look closely in a makeup mirror and see that it falls into creases and wrinkles and highlights them. I’m 59 and have that classic “11” between my eyes now. I don’t need it more prominent. Then look closely at your nose and every pore is showing. Like oil coming out of your pores pushes aside the makeup and then stands out. Little pore circles everywhere. Weird as this doesn’t happen with my other makeup. I had some peeling on my nose and all that was highlighted too. I won’t buy it again.

This is a great concealer. True to the color and last all day. It is very light and natural looking. Price is good too.

This stuff is so great! Is the only foundation I can wear that doesn’t make me break out!

NOT matte. The 2.0 Porcelain one I bought in a store was matte but a little too light for when I tan in summer, so I just got the 2.3 Barely Beige here and it's not even close to matte. The slightly darker shade was a good match, but it's really shiny and makes my face look oily :(
