I have used this filter for 5 years. I have 2. One that I replace the filter in, and clean up. I have that one ready to when it is time to change the filter. Steps to take when cleaning, and replacing filter.1. Always use rubber gloves, as they will protect your fingers from being cut, and you get a better grip when taking it apart.2. On the sprayer plate use steel wool to clean up any deposits, both sides.3. When you screw it back together watch the way it starts as it is easy to cross threat it. It will be easy to screw on if the threads are aligned. You will feel it.4. I like using a water flow control valve, as sometimes it allows to much water.5. Do all this and you will have a good shower head.

This shower filter has worked, without a problem, for about 4 months now. I had been to the doctor because I was breaking out in little blisters which turned into sores, and was having a lot of itching. Doctor recommended I install a filtered shower head. After much research I bought the one that goes with this filter and since I didn't know how long the filter would last, I bought an extra one. We haven't needed to replace the filter yet and it's been over 4 months. This filter is very reasonable in price (much less than most of the others). I highly recommend this shower head and filter if you have sensitive skin, this is an inexpensive way to help clear any problems up. I noticed an immediate difference after just one shower.

It works well! Upon first usage, the water pressure was great.. before it wasn’t.We changed our filter after 5 months... look at what the filter did.. it works! I know our Florida water is hard and full of junk.. this proved it.

This was doing pretty good and I change my filter probably to often but I do it about every 2 months but by the time I got to my 3rd it has a bad leak in the actual shower head as if the clear seal isn’t fitting I contacted the company right after I got that filer but it was no help they told me to look at the directions on the insert.. I did over and over but it’s not an operator error ... it’s a defect 😟 I hate that because my family and myself was enjoying it.. but I guess it’s time to look for something different 😟

Love this! Very nice water pressure, actually increased from my former shower head. Nice spread of water from the shower head to wash hair and rinse off. Looks nice, modern yet not too moderN. Also, this absolutely improves how your hair and skin feels. Anyone with a skin issue, this will be a awesome, safer way to bathe. I use this water to water my plants, I think it helps keep them looking better. My tub and shower area stays cleaner too.

I love this shower head and it’s filter. I’ve had the shower head for about a year and have replaced the filter twice. Definitely can notice the difference in the quality and feeling when i replaced it. I get comments on the shine of my hair and also how much it has grown since i started using better water and products on my hair. Definitely recommended!

Love my water filter. I had that sprite one it was awful could never replace the filter. This one is so easy to replace filter just unscrew and pop in the new filter. The best thing is that it makes your hair look and feel healthier. And i have waist length hair and with this filter I can wash my hair faster. Another favorite thing is it doesn't hurt when standing under it like most showers. This one feels like the rain very soothing and relaxing.

I bought this to replace a Culligan shower filter where the housing cracked on two different filters within a year or so. I was looking for something made of metal and the fact that this was an all-in-one unit swayed my choice.The only real criticism I have of the unit is that there were metal shards in body of the device from machining. I found these and removed them when I opened it up to see how the filter was put together (in case I needed to do something).In use, it works exactly as expected. However, there is no flow restriction so I ended up buying a separate flow restrictor (built in to the old shower head).
