I have a puppy. Puppies have accidents. I bought a cheaper UV light, to find these ‘accidents’, but I needed to wait until night, and turn all the lights off. This light finds them, in a fully lit room.I turned it on and placed it about 2” (50mm) from my arm, for just a couple seconds, and my arm got warm. That’s some serious output. Please, don’t point it at your eyes. It may not seem bright, but that’s because UV is outside of the visible spectrum. Just because you can’t see the light, doesn’t mean that it’s safe for your eyes.I can’t recommend this light, enough. It’s also cool to walk around the inside and outside of your house, just to see what glows. (Your kids will love this!) The attached picture is in an area, lit by a skylight. I’m holding the UV light about 4’ above the floor and taking the picture with my iPhone. The pee spot is about 4” in diameter. I’ve also included a picture of the ‘source’ of these accidents. :-)

Wonderful product. I purchased this since we have a puppy, although we watch him constantly, the little guy tends to sneak off when we turn our head and we wanted to make sure he was not soiling any carpet. It also works amazingly well at finding cleaning areas that have dust and dirt left behind. Definitely recommend.

This seems to be a good UV light. I bought it to help with additional detection and clean-up of bodily fluids. We had a family member fall and get a severe injury to the body, which caused excessive bleeding and a trip to the hospital. The blood was all over the floor, which got cleaned up, but since it was right on a floor joint which met to tile, there continued to be fluid coming out from under that joint whenever it was cleaned. I bought this so that I could make sure all it was off the floor. This light really does work wonder and work great. It's bright, and has a concentrated but wide beam, so you can see the area distinctly, and fix the issue. I was able to pick up all kinds of marks on the floors, walls, doors, and door handle areas. The body is made of metal and has good construction. It's a good size to fit in the hand, and has nice ergonomics. There's added checkering in the handle area, and flat spots, to help with gripping the flashlight. All of this is appreciated. The end cap also has a nice lanyard so you can let it hang from your wrist. All around good product. Just be careful of the plastic battery carriers - Usually those are the first thing to harden, crumble, and break.

I use this to light my discs when playing glow in the dark disc golf. Bought the slightly cheaper one before and this one is way better, it’s super bright! Only negative in my opinion is the button to turn it on is at the end of the handle and kind of awkward but I’ll get used to it.
