Hebrew Grammar By Example: Dual Language Hebrew-English, Interlinear & Parallel Text

Clearly laid out but basic level grammar only - suitable for a beginner level

I bought this because I was doing Duolingo Hebrew. I bought several books and this one is the most helpful. I can easily find what I want and I use the summary grammar charts a lot. The sentences are quite advanced and are not too useful for my level. I may use them more in the future.

Goood to learn from

Die wichtigsten Grammatikkapitel werden vorgestellt mit einer Reihe von Beispielsätzen. So bleibt Grammatik nicht abstrakt, sondern konkretisiert sich. Außerdem merkt man sich das so leichter. Die Beispielsätze sind mit Lautschrift und Übersetzung. Im Internet kann man sich die gesprochenen Sätze herunterladen. Perfekt!

Barnes and Noble seemed to have ZERO books on Hebrew. Neither did my Synogogue's library. The materials I found were about the alphabet/reading/writing not speaking and not modern. This is an adequate beginner text and you don't have to know the alphabet but it includes written modern hebrew and transliteration with every phrase. So, you can benefit further if you know the basics of reading. It includes all the regular stuff of a regular text. It would be ok in an academic environment or as someone who wants to learn Hebrew.
