Dear customer, Thanks for your question.We usually use GSM(Gramme/Square Meter) to measure the quality of linen fabric.The fabric gsm is 165.Our linen sheets set were made of 100% premium French long flax from Normandy.To convert to thread count,it is around 110.

Q: Do the pillow cases have an envelope closure or are they just open on the ends?

They have open ends unfortunately. I was wondering the same thing when I bought mine. I am still happy with them mostly, but my white pillow is pretty obvious next to the colored sheet fabric if things are moved at all. If the bed is made and no one touches it, the white of the pillow stays hidden. Also, these sheets bring a whole new level to wrinkly. I am not that picky in that regard but even I am starting to consider bringing the iron out at least for the top bit that folds over.
