4L60E 700R4 High Performance Corvette Servo Piston Assembly & Cover & Snap Ring

1988 700R4 installed in a Jeep Cherokee with a 3.4. Works perfect! Nice firm shifts. I checked the travel with a dial indicator and the supplied pin worked in my case but always check it. This was a used transmission and I just wanted to do what I could to it for a good solid shift and this seems to be working as advertised!

Worked with my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4. It did make the shifts a bit more firm, and seems to make throttle response a touch more crispy. Took 30 mins to swap out the servo, and I used a floor jack and a creeper.

I would strongly suggest you use your old servo cap this is a great assembly the cap just dosent work the new cap is smooth as the old cap has a ridge for the snap ring to sit into I didn’t catch it made it not even two minutes down the road and it shot itself out luckily the snap ring stayed pressed up against the heat shield also had to reuse factory snap ring as I did not receive a new one other than that I recommend this upgrade

Works well. Solved the dreaded 2-3 shift flare

Used it on my 2004 Chevy Silverado v8 4.8 with the 4L60 transmission. Shifts firm & fast feels like a brand new truck. I’d say it took longer to lift the truck up than installing the part lol.

I do not recommend this product to anyone. The servo pin, 4th gear piston, and housing had excessive wear and dirt all in it. I pulled it apart and used my original servo pin, 4th gear piston, and housing. It Looked like they pulled it straight out of a used trans that had water/mud sitting in it then slapped the corvette servo pack in it and painted the cap black.

Put in my 120k mile truck and noticed a difference right away. Nice firm shifts. Looks pretty cool too. Recommend a pry bar to push the stock servo in or else you’re going to fight that snap ring forever. But once that’s off it’s butter from there
