The media could not be loaded. Bought this based on the reviews. 2 sheets of directions arrived with it and both state different instructions. I went on YouTube to watch a video and they are years old. An extra filter came with it and, surprise, no instructions on where to place it. I did as directed and poured out the first 2 tanks of water. Left them in for over a day and each time, only a small amount came through. Plus, little pieces of charcoal are coming out of the long filter. I tried calling their number for assistance and it was a disconnected number. Anyway, I decided to return it, but being it would go to CA and I am in PA, plus the oversized box, it would cost a third of the purchase price to ship it back. So, I have set it back up and will try to get some use out of it.

The set-up was easy and the water is delicious. My daughter and I used the test kit on the Velaqua, Evian, Aquafina, FoodLion brand and our tap water. The ph in Velaqua was at 8.2, Evian at 7.5, Aquafina at 2.5, FoodLion was around 5 and our tap was around 7.0. We now bottle our own water to drink & I recommend this product. The cost was not bad & the money we save in the long run out ways the cost of buying water that has more chemicals than my tap water. Thank you Velaqua.

I did a lot of research for a alkaline water machine. This one looks great but discovered the manufacture website has no replacement filters!

I LOVE IT. It took at least 3-4 times of emptying the container before the water started to tasted good. Got everybody drinking it at home. Did the test and it's the PH that I was looking for, at least 9.5, nice purple color.
