Fantastic condition for a good price!
An amazing guide I've been looking to add to my collection. Arrived soon enough and in good condition.

Style over substance
Interesting concept. It looks colorful and cool, but is missing some basics and lacks depth. Kind of small.

Gimmicky
I bought this book as I wanted a book with traditional cocktails, it does have all the traditional cocktails but is very simple and not at all interesting. It consists of an image like a coloured pie chart for each cocktail and then tiny writing in a key which says what each coloured element of the pie chart relates to. Measurements are not clear (except from the pie chart / bar chart image for each recipe). It doesn't talk through how to mix the drink or which utensils to use (other than mentioning which shape glass you should serve the cocktail in). Most importantly, it is not at all exciting and just a very dull introduction to cocktails!

Not the best if you need measurements
Bought this after reading that it was one of the best cocktail books. I have to disagree, it doesn’t have pictures of what the cocktail is meant to look like, just a diagram of roughly where each ingredient should take the level in the glass to. No measurements and not a great amount of different recipes. Unfortunately I sent this one back and bought a good one I saw in a book shop.

Beautiful book but not for serious cocktail making
It's a beautiful book and really well illustrated but the recipes vary from what you'd classically expect in certain cocktails. They tend to be a bit low alcohol.

Missing Vital Cocktails
No Pornstar martini. A big letdown. Agree with other reviewers really that this is a pretty but gimmicky book.
