Q: If I went swimming in the pond after it has been dyed will my skin get stained?

I only use it in a pond, not a pool. My experience from sticking my arms in the pond is that it does not stain my skin at all. Any blue color on my clothing has always rinsed out easily.

Wow. I would read the item description carefully. The color on the bottle reads simply "black." I will say this dye leaves a silvery black, mirror-like sheen on the surface of our garden feature. It is beautiful especially at night because light is mirrored from it even in the ripples. I hope this helps somewhat. Rather than a yellow value, I would call it silver.

Q: Can the blue be used with black for a blended color? We have used black for several years and someone told me try using both.

I haven't mixed both colors, I only have used their blue dye. I don't see why you couldn't though.. Just add the two colors very slowly, and let the color cycle through filter, until you get a color you like! I can say - I bought this bottle a year ago. The color lasts a really long time in the WATER! I live in the desert, and water gets evaporated pretty quickly - but it still lasts, even with refills. This isn't my favorite shade of blue for my koi pond though - it's a lot brighter ("fake" looking) than the last brand of blue pond dye I bought.

Q: I would like to buy the black for a stone fountain with water that drips down the wall. I am concerned the dye may stain the stone. Thoughts please

i have one pond with two water falls on either side of the pond. put put this in the top parts of the pond so it can run down and when it hits the pond, it would spread out and cover the pond quicker. It did exactly as i wanted, but to your concern, it ran over my granite stones and did not stain them. I hope this helps
