I gave these a 5 because they work really well, but you need to know that you will have to put these together before you install them. We ordered a lot of them to cover the rafters of our open car port. My daughter and I watched a movie while we put them together and then, my husband spent a couple hours placing/installing them, but it was so worth it. No more bird poop on my vehicle or bird's nests in the rafters.

Exactly as advertised and what I needed.Very annoying to put together yourself, but I knew what I was getting into so it still gets a 5. Good quality and easy to work with.

We have a pavilion out back, birds kept nesting in the eaves. Wife was ripping out nest on a daily basis. None of the anti-bird light reflectors worked, fake owls, etc. Fishing line would have interfered with my ceiling fans. These have been working great. Zero nests since we installed them in the eaves 3 weeks ago.Only issue is you have to install the tines individually. Not particularly difficult, but 3 packages x 20 strips per package x 20 spikes per strip = arthritis in my hands. But if they keep the birds out next spring, will be worth it. Also the holes are not symmetrical, so if you cut one in half, one side will have 2 mounting holes and the other side will only have one. Not a huge deal, but messed with my installation plans a bit.

These are far more effective than the plastic ones. A bit tedious to assemble, but if you do that while listening to an audiobook, it's not too bad. Unobtrusive and durable, I've had them up for several years and they last.

Worked great

I put these on my boat dock to deter ospreys and crows. Wasn't sure if they would work against a raptor as large as an Osprey, but they do! Assembly is a bit time consuming but installation is easy. Recommend

After having squirrels causing so many issues onto my yard, I realize the most humane way to deter them are installing these spikes. The squirrels have attempted to craw on the fence but overtime, they stopped since it takes a lot of energy and may cause them to fall. My only issue is I wish is that they had provided screws so make sure you purchase them beforehand. The quality is overall good and the spikes are closer together compare to another brand I purchased. The assembly is easy but really time consuming. No issues with any of the materials but cutting the metal requires very heavy duty scissors. Yes, I would recommend it to others.
