Magbean 123" Large Solid Wood Chicken Coop Backyard Hen House 4-6 Chickens with 4 Nesting Boxes

Easy to assemble. Cute LITTLE coop. Smaller then expected. Planning on hens being mostly free range so the smaller size is not to much of a concern. However if you you are looking to keep chickens in full time after adding water and food in my opinion fewer birds the better. Soft wood so my husband and I were careful to not over tighten screws and bolts. One of the caps was broken upon arrival but easy enough to fix. Looking forward to adding chickens in when they get to that point.

The item arrived with some minor damage during shipment. Nothing worth sending it back for, I was able to put it together without issues. However, the only measurements provided are the full external dimensions and the note in the description that it’s adequately sized for 4-6 chickens. This is VERY misleading. Average sized chickens need 4-5 SQ feet of space inside the coop to be comfortable. Each HOUSE is 4.46 SQ Ft of useable space, IF you include the full nesting box area. Without including the nesting box area, the interior of each house is 2.6 SQ Ft (generously). This is barely large enough for 3 bantam chickens in the entire coop. Would be great for quail maybe?We will be using it anyway as a transition coop for our young birds before they move into a larger coop that I’m apparently converting half of my garden shed into.To sum it up: it’s cute, easy to put together by one person in about an hour (or less). Great for smaller birds before they join the adult flock or move into a larger coop with adequate space. If I ever get quail, This will be amazing for them!! Don’t waste your money if you’re expecting to use this long term for more than 2 medium to large sized chickens. You can probably purchase a full size shed and modify it for less with hardware cloth fencing for the run.

Coop would’ve been easier to put together if pieces were labeled A,B,C,etc with proper instructions instead of just diagrams. Some pieces came damaged or split when was manufactured from probably using an air gun nailer. Product isn’t well made for the price paid and coop is small for more than 3-4 full size hens. I wouldn’t purchase again for the price paid.

Only one of the two required packages was received. Unable to assemble or use the product. A waste of time.

We got this coop 6 months ago and we already need to replace it!! If you live in a cold wet winters climate DO NOT get this! Wood is very soft and breaks! One of the nesting box covers is already warped and falling apart! Very poor quality! The price you pay it should last longer then 6 months. Very very unhappy! Do not get this or any other prefab coop if you live in this kind of climate. Build your own! We learned the hard way.
